This joint calls to you as your walking down the street. It seems they always have some form of live music going on from their stage that is open to the street on its patio. It looks artistic and colorful and has smells drawing you in as well. There is an indoors areas as well and it is much quieter than outside. So if you like loud music I would suggest sitting outside and if you like more quiet I suggest sitting indoors. The restaurant is a blend of American and Indian food and it is amazingly delicious. When I first saw the prices on the menu I was taken a back. When I got the food I was shocked at how it it is. The flavor is on point and the curry I ordered had enough food to make 3 meals for me. Totally worth the price I paid. My partner is gluten free and was able to order a burger with a GF bun. It is difficult to find places that carry GF buns. Their fries that came with it are those big steak fries with lots of potato. Very delicious as well. I feel like this was the best restaurant we found as far as betting bang for the buck. It had ambiance galore, flavor profiles that had fireworks going on my tongue, and plenty of food to share or take home. I can't wait to try them again next time I get to visit Eureka Springs.

Burger was a tiny bit overcooked, however it was pretty good. I really enjoyed the “whiskey burger” and the siracha and peanut butter and egg that was on it. Great idea! Also I really thought the service was good. These are the two points that I would give it stars for. HOWEVER, as to everything else, I would have to say it was negative. To start with, it was cold. Super. Cold. 🥶 why couldn’t they make it a little warmer? We were there to get out of the cold and relax. We could not inside of the establishment. Next would be the price. For what it was, it was pricey. You are talking over 40 bucks for two people for mediocreish food and a freezing cold restaurant. The artwork inside is ok, but honestly I felt like it was saying less India and more like a fake “psychedelic” sort of Indian place. If you have seen Tiger King, it looked like a restaurant “Doc Antle” would open up. Finally, the bathroom. Good god, they were in horrible shape. Like horrible shape. Like filthy and not nice at all. Again, the particular burger I had was good, cool and inventive. I loved it. I also had amazing service and the waiter was friendly and helpful. But the rest of the stuff makes it a two star experience.

The ambiance of this place is fantastic. They have a neat patio with spray misters and a spring runs right through the building. The servers were beyond nice, they were a little overwhelmed with the number of diners that came in during our visit, so they were slow to get our order. Once they got our order the food didn’t take long to come out. But the service is not why they earned two stars. It was the food. 3 of us ordered various burgers. These are not the best burgers in Eureka Springs. Chances are you could cook a better burger in a pan on your stove. Our burgers were dry, over cooked, lacked seasoning and came out semi-warm. The fries were hot and delicious, however. But they couldn’t make up for the $16 burger. My daughter got the mac and cheese, she liked it. Looking around the room, a couple of dishes looked like a better value. The half order of nachos is huge! And the hummus plate offered plenty of bread and veggies to dip with. My advice- this is a good place to relax and take in the atmosphere, grab a snack. Perhaps grab a beer ($5) and nachos or one of their fried appetizers. But for lunch or dinner, you can probably do a lot better in Eureka Springs.

When my friend and I walked in on a chilly day, we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We stated that we'd like to sit inside due to the chill. One of the staff looked at us and said, "You just don't want to sit next to brown people."

We should have taken that as our cue to leave, but we were already there, so we decided to stay (as we had seen online they had a BLT on the menu and my friend wanted one).

Unfortunately, the waitress was then extremely rude. When we asked to leave lettuce off a particular item, she said in a huff, "What, are you allergic to lettuce or something?" My friend was taken completely off guard and felt even more uncomfortable at this point. My friend ordered a cranberry juice and I ordered sweet tea - they looked confused by her order, though it was on the menu, and realized they had to go up to the bar to get it. The sweet tea was hardly sweet.

When the food arrived, the waitress spilled my soup on the table and didn't even attempt to wipe it up. I wish I could say I was upset to lose so much of my meal, but the soup was a massive let down and I barely touched it (I suppose it looked similar to tomato soup, but tasted like water with red food coloring). My friend's BLT had no mayo and when she asked for some, she was given one packet for a huge sandwich. There was only one small slice of tomato on the BLT and the bacon was burned. Her "loaded fries" were cold, the cheese not melted, and the onions were in large slices. She also barely touched her food.

You'd think that would have been the end of our saga on our first night in Eureka Springs, but as they say, "Wait! There's more!"

The wait staff was yelling at each other and degrading each other's work quite loudly in what is supposed to be the "back" of the restaurant, but was only separated from our table by hanging fabric. Another family came in to order a to-go coffee and some mozzarella sticks, and while they received the coffee (after a 20 minute wait), the order for the mozzarella sticks was not put in originally and they had to wait an additional half hour for them - the father actually sent everyone else on to continue doing whatever touristy stuff they were doing while he waited.

When we asked for the check, with more than half our food in front of us, we still left a 15% tip for the fact that we felt so uncomfortable and didn't want to be asked why we didn't tip on top of everything else.

If I could have left 0 stars, I would have. Please do...

RASIST DISRESPECTFUL XENOPHOBIC PLACE WITH THE MOST ARROGANT EMPLOYEES I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE ANYWHERE IN THE USA AND AROUND THE WORLD. Me and my wife went there for the disco 80‘s night. My wife was drinking wine ( 3 glasses) i was drinking a club soda since I was driving. Around 9:45pm I paid downstairs with cash for our drinks and went to the upstairs bar. After about 5 minutes waiting the bartender came to us said he will not serve us a glas of wine for my wife. When i politely asked him why he said because he doesn’t like the way i am taking to him with. I told him nicely i do apologize for my accent but English is my 6th language and it’s very hard for me to speak without an accent. He said he doesn’t care and called in some old lady. She came in without asking any questions she accused me of breaking her computer, pushing her on stairs and said she doesn’t need customers like me . i told her again politely i do not know what computer or stairs accident she’s talking about an ask her what the problem is and what does she mean by saying “customers like you “ She said foreigners with accent. Then she said - you need to leave now. We did since the was no reason to escalate the situation. i heard her saying to the bartender “ lock the door after these foreigners “ . I feel sorry for you and your employees. I have been in The USA for 29 years. I came here legally and I own my own business. I been to every single lower 48 and Alaska. I traveled to over 50 other countries around the world, but I NEVER EVER seen anyone so disrespectful and disgusting as the people at this place. I will never return to Eureka Springs in my live, there are other places where people will appreciate the business tourism brings to them. I feel sorry for the other businesses in the beautiful city they will lose because of people who work at New Delhi Cafe. Hope you are happy with your employees and them being intolerant racist . Please before you spen a penny at this place consider looking elsewhere. Eureka Springs has tons of great rest and bars where friendly staff will...

This was our second time here and we will never go back! First off the food was good, but service was terrible! The 2 stars is solely for the food. Waitress was rude and did not come back to our table to check for refills. We finally flagged her down and my husband was already done with his food and then she brings me a warm iced tea. She also heard my son wrong when he clearly asked for the fried fish sandwich, yet she heard fish and chips. When she brought the food I said he ordered the fish sandwich and her response was "he said fish and chips". I said no he didn't. She did offer to fix it. Anywho, us being easy going he said it was fine and he ate what was brought to him. Then she brings the bill which this time around we were expecting the forced added gratuity (which we were never told they do this) but never provided an itemized receipt. I asked her for one which she didn't know what that meant so I explained it's a break down of what we ordered. She didn't know how so she got the manager. I saw we were charged for the more expensive fish and chips which that was her mistake. She was so extremely rude and even said he ate it and she offered to change it. I said well we should have been told we're being charged more for a mistake. Then she says in a smart way $3 more. I said yes $3 more and then there's the 20% forced gratuity which she DID NOT earn. I used to be a waitress so I know how hard the job is, but given we just paid her that much of a tip that she didn't work for and then she's talking to me like this? Not okay in my book when paying for $18-$20 per person. Just be prepared for the added gratuity regardless of...
