Update: Unfortunately, this establishments experience has drastically changed since I posted this original review. It appears to be under new ownership and the quality has gone down-hill quite a bit. The disabled online ordering for takeout and the employees on the phone couldn't understand what we were trying to order. So we had to go.in and order in-person and wait. This was incredibly inconvenient because we were ordering a variety of meals on seperate orders for an event. It would have been so much easier for each personto.submit their orders for takeout and pay on their own. Also, the employee did t ask if we wanted out side pickles and just automatically marked us down for no pickles and then was annoyed when we asked for them. There is a major communication barrier and they struggle to understand us and it's hard to understand them. This makes it difficult to ask questions about ingredients or orders. They appear to be much slower and the quality of ingredients seem to have declined as well. It's unfortunate because we really loved this place before and the friendliness of the previous employees.
We tried Sourdough & Co today for the first time and the sandwiches were absolutely delightful! The fresh sourdough was so warm and tasty. I had a French dip with clam chowder and my friend had the turkey & salami w Mac n chz. The house sauce is like a Sriracha Mayo type flavor and I am here for it! We...
Read moreI ordered a bowl of tomato soup, which is an embarrassing size for over $10. I mentioned the price was a little high, but the worker who was real snippy, said in a fake-nice voice, “Oh yeah, sorry about that.” That’s the time he could’ve told me that he was going to throw a hunk of bread in with my soup which wasn’t on the menu. I don’t eat bread. The worker was real snooty when he gave me the soup to go. It was slopped all over inside of the bag. I went up to the counter to say that I didn’t know bread came with it and I didn’t eat bread. They said they couldn’t do anything and they couldn’t take it back so I gave it to the nice DoorDasher or next to me. It was it that time the snotty staff member should’ve offered me some alternative because I’m paying for a hunk of bread that I’m not going to eat. They have gluten-free bread, which was not offered to me. The bread that I gave to the DoorDash or had the spoon for the soup so I had to ask for another spoon. I was met with more sass and fake nicety. Further, as I left, the fake nice and sass continued on in a loud voice saying that he “hoped I have a great day.”
I will not return and I will not recommend this place to anyone given how terrible the one staff member was and what the prices are....
Read moreI went on line to their website to order for delivery. The order went through fine. I was told it would be delivered at a particular time. When that time came. We called and they said it was sitting on the counter waiting for pickup. Our sandwiches were ordered hot. 30 minutes later. Our sandwich is still had not been delivered and we called again just for them to tell us that they were still sitting there on the counter and that they don't do delivery. But they charged me $7 for a delivery charge. We told him we would pick up the sandwiches. Asked for a refund for the delivery charge which they gave. However, having to wait over an hour for an order that should have been delivered within a particular amount of time should have refunded the full thing for good customer service. I've been in the food industry for over 25 years and I would never treat my customers this way if something happened like this. The sandwich is had dead lettuce on him. They did not look like the pictures on the website and I was extremely disappointed with sourdough companies service. I don't know if I will try it again. The atmosphere was a...
