Worst Service Ever
On our way home this evening, we decided to stop for a Papa Murphy’s take-n-bake, at 3217 23rd Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620. The store had posted in the window two specials, one being a Tuesday $10 large pizza. Jeff inquired what large pizza was on special and we were informed immediately that they were “out of large” pizzas, but we could get the family size for $16. Granted we were in at 7:00pm and they must of had a run on the Tuesdays special. Jeff then asked if there was an alternative to the special. We didn’t want a larger pizza but asked if there was something equivalent. The response from the “manager” was VERY RUDE, CONDESCENDING, and inappropriate for the situation. He said that we could go to another store for a large pizza or somewhere else. We simply asked if there was something else that they were not out of other than what was offered. I have never in my life had someone talk down to me in the way this “manager” did. At that moment, I looked at my family and said, “Let’s go.” My husband said to me leaving the store, “It’s ok, I’ll contact the owner”. To which the “manager” loudly replied as we were walking out the door… “THE OWNER IS MY DAD SO GOOD LUCK”.
False Entitlement! It’s about the way the “manager”/son-of-the-owner interacted with customers. He made himself and the store look awful.
I too am a small business owner… I completely understand that things happen, and products can easily run out. Clearly in this case, what differs is how we react to situations. And more embarrassingly … it was the owners son?! This one interaction has set precedence and I will NEVER return to the 3217 23rd Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620 Papa Murphy’s location. I personally would suggest you support local business that cares about...
Read moreI usually order a vegetarian version of the chicken bacon artichoke because it’s one of my families favorites. I swap the meats for olives and mushrooms. How hard is that??! Well apparently impossible because they seem to never get it right. Literally half the time I get a totally different pizza. It’s supposed to be thin crust and have artichokes and herb seasoning. Well we get none of that, but instead just a regular veggie with white sauce. I moved from the west coast and have been getting this pizza for over a decade, and never ever had an issue until moving to Greeley.
I’ve also never had a pepperoni pizza come out normal ever! It’s always doughy on the bottom and inedible and if I try sliding it off the tray after cooking to crisp the bottom, it just falls through the oven rack.
Another thing is when they F up, you have to drive all the way back to the store and return the messed up one and then they give you nothing in return except the pizza you paid for, wasting time and gas, which ain’t cheap! Like the least you could do is let us keep the messed up one or get a free cookie dough if you’re gonna waste my families time and money on this over priced food and messed up service. Not to mention messing with my families...
Read moreI used to love this location. They used to have the best service ever. Their food was always made great, but now it is just sad. They don't ever talk to the customers waiting any more. They act completely bothered to make anything. The girl who was working tonight looked like everything was a bother to her. She moped around and just stared. They never have any salads any more and always close up 20-30 minutes early and refuse to male anything if you come in before closing time. The pizzas suck now. Almost no toppings they just put them in the middle when they do have some on there and who I am guessing the manger just sits behind the counter like her entire job is awful. Won't be...
