I thought it would all be okay. Was I mistaken. I started out having to switch rooms because the latch wouldn't line up with the door so I couldn't secure my door once it was closed and the deadbolt locked.
After switching room, I still have the same issue in the new room, but figured it was getting late, I was tired and I would just figure this out. In the new room, I figured since I had a suite I would try and turn on the lamp in the room by the couch, when it didn't turn on I found it to be unplugged. Upon finding the plug, the prongs were bent so badly that I'm surprised they were still attached. Did I mention that it was only a two-prong plug with no ground. Yeah! Thankfully there was a light on the desk that was plugged in and working.
I decided on a shower and thankfully the water was nice and hot. Unfortunately there was no vent and as I was showering noticed the cracks in the ceiling some being quite prominent. Upon getting out of the shower I noticed a rust spot on the floor under the sink. When I turned off the main light for the bathroom, I did notice that the built in nightlight wasn't working so I was to find my way to the bathroom at night either by leaving the light on, or hoping I could find the light that came off of the hair dryer mounted to the wall.
I went to set my belongings on the suitcase rack in the bedroom section of the suite and noticed what appeared to be white something on the fabric. I'm guessing mold based on the texture. I wasn't tempted to get close enough to smell it and chose to find another spot to put my belongings.
I then decided to try looking for an ice bucket, much to my dismay there was not one, so I figured I would even see if I could find an ice machine on my level. No, ice machine on the second or third floors. It was getting late so I didn't want to venture downstairs as it was by now after 10pm. I got back into my room and figured I would setup the coffee pot for the morning, unfortunately it took a bit of struggling with the machine in general to get the empty pot as it had been stuck to the warmer. After having success in getting the pot out, I took it into the bathroom and noticed what appeared to be some brown crust that had been left behind and what appeared to be a dusty dead bug inside the pot. I discarded the bug into the trash and placed the still empty pot back on the warmer and settled for some tap water from the bathroom sink.
Upon waking this morning I see that there is a orangish circle around the fire alarm in the bedroom section of the suite that I didn't notice last night due to the lighting and found some blood stains on the comforter that I had set on the other side of the bed and not used.
All in all, I hope things improve, but I will not be back. Sometimes, first impressions are the only ones we get and I can't say that this was even close to an okay...

My mother is disabled and I'm her legal caretaker. After making the reservation for her in advance I made absolutely sure to tell them that. There were -zero- issues. Upon arriving at the hotel, the entire front entrance was under construction and unaccessible to someone with severe neuropathy AS WELL AS healing a broken hip and fractured femur. When I approached the front desk to check in, the gentleman was actually very kind. At first. The first sentence out of my mouth was "Hi, I'm (moms) daughter, she can't make it in on that hip of course, we didn't know this was under construction. I'm here to check her in, she's in that Toyota right there."
He looked out, said "Oh, okay! That's fine, she just needs to sign this so I can match signatures in her ID." No biggie. I ran my mom the paperwork, she signed, and when I ran back in he said "Now I need you to go get her(like she was a dog!) so we can see her on camera." My disabled mother, he just acknowledged wouldn't be able to make it inside.
I was suddenly absolutely shocked. I then had to ask him for both my card and my ID as well as hers back from him as he was going TO KEEP THEM BEHIND THE COUNTER while I went out and helped my mother through the following photo.
Trying to discuss this issue with the manager ended in me being told I wasn't lawfully allowed to check in for her(five days later after they got paid, of course). I legally am. I brought up the fact that we had no hot water for five days, and it ended in me being told that I should've just showered at a different time. I brought up the fact that the front was torn up, and it should be common sense for a manager to tell someone that when their guest says they're booking requires handicap accessiblities. Which, we didn't have.
My low ratings are because of how we were treated when bringing up very obvious unprofessional behavior AS WELL as the amenities and atmosphere being completely off the mark for disabled and non-disabled people. I don't want another family to feel the way this staff, management, and ownership dealings made me and my mother feel. Oh, and the extra $40 charge, because I quote "you struggled too long getting your stuff out. I saw you myself. Sorry. It's a $40 late fee."
Simply unreal behavior for those on par with how to treat...
Read moreThis was one of the worst places we stayed at in a very long time. To start, the woman at the front desk (Mercedes) treated us with a sarcastic, smug, and condescending attitude, and was most unpleasant for the whole time we were there. We were in the process of moving and needed a place to stay for four days with our cat while our furniture was being moved. The hotel advertised that they were pet friendly and my wife has a disability that allows her to have a comfort pet. When we presented our documentation for our cat she said they didn't accept cats but only dogs. After further discussion about our comfort pet documentation she finally agreed to accept our cat but required us to pay the deposit plus a daily fee. The room was dingy and not very clean. They advertised they provided a microwave and a refrigerator but I could not find it. Then I discovered them inside a cabinet. The microwave looked very old and was about the size of a shoe box, and the fridge was not much bigger than that and did not work. The breakfast that they provided was almost inedible but got better by the last day. After the first day they notified everyone that the elevator was inoperable, and my wife who is legally blind had much difficulty with the stairs but the hotel made no special consideration or accommodation for her at all. Then I discovered quite by accident that the Radisson corporation apparently franchises their hotels, and appeared to me that individual owners have major differences as to what constitutes quality of their amenities, room quality, and accommodations. I would not wish this place upon anyone and therefore suggest that you look elsewhere for a more pleasant and comfortable...
