We placed an order which included two cans of cokes, but only one came. We needed extra rice anyway, big family, and placed a second order. I asked for the missing can of coke, and it did come with the second order. This review is not about the food, its great. Prices are a bit on the high side given the small proportion of food given, but overall its good. This review is for the arrogance of the 2nd delivery person. We usually don't add an extra tip as we're charged a delivery fee with each order. The second delivery person was a rude woman who called us up and DEMANDED we tip her with cash!? I explained to her that tipping is a CHOICE not a RIGHT and advised her the restaurant charges us for a delivery fee and so she should take this issue up with them. She continued to speak over me and demanded that I call the restaurant to add her tip! I told her that I most certainly was going to call them alright, and boy I sure did, and let them have it! They lost a customer because of very ignorant delivery person! Had she been nice about not getting the tip, I would've given her a cash one, BUT she was rude, arrogant and demanding. My daughter and I enjoy the fried rice hear. However, I've had two dishes that were not good. The dish I tried to pay is so bad that i'm writing this review. I tried the Ma Po Tofu and asked for it to be spicy. This is by far the worse dish I've ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant. I recently did a review of a disappointing tofu chinese dish which was unprepared. Well, this is horrible from the other end. The tofu is over cooked and very mushy and the sauce appears to be 75% oil! Yuk!!!! It simply comes with white rice. An chinese dish of mushy tofu swimming in oil is NOT my thought of a tasty dish. I love Asian food so it takes a lot for me to be this disappointed. I paid $8.50 for tofu swimming in oil that wasn't spicy. I should've got the message from the over cooked flat noodles in the last dish i tried. They were all stucked together and fell apart when I tried to eat it. Last issue, i'm a 5 minute drive from this place, but the delivery time was 70 minutes and that was late! I am on a search for another place in the Evanston area that...

Let me start by stating, I have been a strong avid support and patron of this restaurant for YEARS. I order lunch at least twice a week with the volcano rolls and gyoza as my stample menu options. Last night I was violently Ill immediately after consuming the volcano rolls. My husband and son had sesame chicken, combo rice and szchwan vegetables without any symptoms. I felt the importance to letting them know of the matter so I called at 1145am today. Young lady picked up the phone and when I began to inform her of the matter she passed the phone to another personnel. I restarted my conversation to her addressing the time and what I ordered and she abruptly interrupted and stated "I'm just the cashier, you need to call back Friday after 5pm or Saturday and talk with management and the owner!" I only contacted them in efforts to have them investigate the issue and see if there's problems in the prep area and/or storing of the ingredients.
