To all Present and Future Patrons of Moes On 07/29/19, I visited Moes as I do every Monday for the special. When I entered the restaurant, I was not greeted, and the employee was touching his apron with gloves that he used to prepare the food. I am plant-based; therefore, my burrito is always filled with vegetables. The staff was reluctant to fill my burrito with extra rice (etc.). The burrito was rolled very sloppily, so I requested it to be rerolled. A gentleman with in an olive green shirt indicated that he was the owner and that no one would remake my burrito. After going back and forth, he remade the burrito in haste, which was more sloppy than the first time. I told the owner that I did not want the burrito and would pay for my brothers. He then stated that I was rude and that I was not allowed back in the restaurant. Keep in mind that I did not raise my voice, nor did I use any profane language. I was firm in my request for my burrito to be made with love. My brother and I left the restaurant (i.e., not causing a scene). Read moreToday I had a horrible experience at Moe’s off the Lloyd Expressway here in Evansville IN. Using the Moe’s app to pre-order my regular Monday burrito, I arrived two minutes after the said pickup time. Upon arriving I was told my order had never been received. I then proceeded to show the owner (goes by Khaled but refused to give me his last name) not only the confirmation of the order on the app, but also the confirmation email I had received, and the pending transaction in my bank account. After telling me in a demeaning tone that he has been doing this for five plus years, he tells me that there is no way the order came through. I then ask if he’s going to do anything to fix this issue as I clearly ordered my burrito. His response was that I just needed to get in line and purchase another burrito. I believe this visit has been very unacceptable not only because of the technological issues, but because of the rude owner named Khaled that I had to deal with. Read moreWanted to pick dinner for my 2-yr old & my wife and stopped by Moe's. We are regulars here and we like the food! It was 7.59 PM on my car's clock when we parked and it just turned 8 PM on my phone as we entered.
The cashier was very prompt in turning down service for us just as we opened the door saying they close at 8 and it was still not past 8! Another couple had just entered the store right before me and they were being served!
Tried reasoning with the cashier again saying it wasn't past 8 and I just needed two meals for my son & wife! But she didn't seem to care at all! The attitude was so careless and she didn't even make eye contact as she refused service to me!
We were very disappointed with the service today and had to leave the store hungry! Doubt that we will visit this store again! In the future, please have staff who aren't this bad at...
