Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Evansville

Pulled up to place an order. This was my first time trying out Scooters. The guy who spoke over the intercom spoke as if he was bothered by my presence and was very rude and sloppy. Honestly, his attitude made me not want to buy anything, and I didn’t. When my husband placed his order, the man rudely interrupted before he could finish his statement with “how many” then “what flavor” and finished with a “is that it?” When we reached the window, I understood why our presence was inconvenient for him. I think we would all like to play on our phones instead of working too, but that’s just not how life works. I was pretty irritated with the situation, and had I been driving instead of my husband, we would not have bought anything. The lady who was there was the one doing all the work, putting the order together and was so polite and nice and extra sweet. Seems unfortunate that she has to over compensate for her...

They get a 2 star review because the coffee was okay. I was waiting weeks for them to open then went twice yesterday. The first time was fine with the mobile order. Second mobile order visit they screwed it up by forgetting heavy cream and Splenda. They never apologized when i drove back around. I asked for some Splenda and cream on the side since I had already drank from the cup. They told me they had to do it so they took the same cup back. Then they gave me pink generic sweetener instead of yellow Splenda (it does in fact say Splenda in the mobile app). I'll hold out on going back anytime soon. Probably Dunkin or...

We came here on 10/24 around 6:30, no black coffee...just ordered 2 hot chocolates. Came back around 6:45 on Saturday 10/25 and was told no coffee was available, they clean the machines at 7...so again, 2 hot chocolates. Ordered a caramalicious muffin but couldn't heat it up as the ovens were already cleaned also. The hours say they're open later, why clean the coffee machines and ovens so early if they're a coffee place that serves coffee and pastries?
