ATTN: NEW CUSTOMERS MUST READ
I've been a loyal customer of this amazing coffee stand for nearly five years now, and I can say without hesitation that Mina, the owner, has built something truly special here. She's been running this stand for over seven years, and during that time, it's become more than just a place to grab coffee — it’s become a community.
Over the years, I've gotten to know Mina and many of her employees quite well. Mina has always been professional, kind, and incredibly hardworking. She puts her heart into this business, and it shows in the quality of the coffee and the loyal customer base that returns day after day.
As a longtime customer, I knew all the girls that worked there and loved chatting with them while they would take my order. While I’m aware that there have been some recent staffing changes, I don’t believe personal disagreements or differences should be used to discredit or harm a business that has done so much good and served its customers with integrity for so long. Even though I love and miss some of the girls who are no longer employed here, it doesn’t change the quality or service that this coffee stand has provided and will continue to provide to us (the customers). The recent negative reviews don’t reflect the consistent, positive experiences I and many others have had here over the years. I wish everyone well and hope all the girls can heal and learn from their disagreements. After all, we are all human❤️
Box Café continues to serve excellent drinks, and Mina remains committed to running a business that values quality and community. I’ll keep coming back — not just for the great coffee, but for the amazing people behind it. This is my personal, honest review as someone who’s been coming here for almost...
Read moreHad a very bad experience with the barista by the name of Myra she was extremely rude and unprofessional for absolutely no reason I did make an attempt to contact the owner to try to get matters resolved differently but now it has been over a month since I have tried multiple times to contact the owner the owner has not gotten back to me to resolve the matter so therefore I am leaving a bad review because not only did I have an issue with a barista but now there is an issue with the owner not addressing issues properly this is a poor way to do business the other girls that work the stand are very pleasant and nice to deal with there is only one barista that has been unpleasant I have attempted more than 10 times to reach out to the owner and still have yet to receive any kind of response I guess the owner is just okay with Myra being disrespectful to her daily customers
Wow I'm actually surprised that somebody responded on here I'm going to start by saying no I do not know who you are if I saw you face-to-face I wouldn't know which one you are I'm not familiar with people like that and I would like to discuss the matter with you and I have attempted to make contact with you through one of your other employees multiple times with no avail I would like to talk to you directly and not have this all be public can you message me directly and have an adult conversation you have my name you know who I am look me up on Facebook and send me a message the issues that I have go Way beyond what I have already...
Read moreBeen coming here for 5 years. In the last year the owner has seemed to not care and been very hands off for example: running out of basic supplies such as chocolate, coffee (the one thing a coffee stand should have), change (I've had to pay with or exchange change on the request of the baristas) and cup carriers just to name a few.
The owner, when she does bring supplies, parks in the driveway making ingress and egress unnecessarily difficult.
The coffee they use has been changed (no longer is zoka as advertised) for the worse, tastes bitter and gives me heartburn. The coffee is what set this stand apart from others but that is no longer the case.
Edit for response to owner: This has nothing to do with internal affairs. This has everything to do with lack of reception to feedback when provided to employees and personally witnessing and being effected by aforementioned deficiencies. I try to let businesses that I frequent correct any issues before reviewing and moving on. The fact is I have been slowly been trying other places over the last several months being as this is a free market and expectations are no longer being met. When my contractors at my work don't meet expectations I give them the opportunity to correct it before I fire them, this is...
