I don't waist my time making reviews because I have better things to do with my time and I've also worked in the food industry most of my life and in fast food the employees are underpaid overworked and unappreciated and not respected by the public so you gotta make a real impression on me that's really good or really bad in order for me to make a complaint so here it is : first of all I was really looking forward to sonic comming to this area the commercials are so misleading as advertising all this good food at really low prices and that is not the case the food isn't that great and never seen any of those cheap deals at any locations in my area and second of all this location in particular is pretty bad long wait times during dead times and mediocre food for a high price it's right up the street from my house but I won't bother getting food from there I do like there sonic blasts and it's the only thing I will order from there even though they barely put any toppings on it it's still really good soft served icecream I buy around two per my boyfriend enjoys them as well but after the one we got tonight I doubt we will ever get one from there again usually for the large it costs 7 dollars and normally it's filled up pretty high but today we got skimped it was barely full and in the middle was kind of hollow very disappointing and when you call this location it goes to a fax after the first ring in addition to this we had been in the drive through another time recently and we ordered two of the doggie whip cups for our dogs they were 70 cents per cup and they were just whip cream In a dipping sauce cup like if you asked for a side of ranch that was the size of the cups somthing most places would have just giving you for free when my boyfriend commented the lady told us they were out of the regular cups they normally come in and my boyfriend asked to just get the money back and he was really nice and even apologized and she didn't say one word to us even as we left kind of unprofessional and uncomfortable to say the least and just to be clear these incidences were at night and I know first hand when working in fast food that usually it's a completely different experience depending on the people who are working and that goes for everything meaning the customer service and quality of food my suggestion is to hire at least one person you can trust and is responsible (an adult ) who will over see whats happening during the night time because clearly these kids need a babysitter and the bad star rating and complaints against this place can't be good for business also it's not good business practice to have the only phone going right to the fax machine not cool at all people need to be able to talk with some one when they are missing items from there orders because it is an inconvenience to have to drive back to pick the stuff up that same night so at least if they can deal with it on the phone they could pick it up at there convenience and you probably wouldn't have as many bad reviews people don't like to feel like they been ripped off and when they can't speak with anyone they will feel like they have...
Read moreComing from one of the most patient people on earth, especially when it comes to service workers; this was the worst experience ever. We had two mobile orders placed in advance before pickup. We arrived and let them know we were there. They were pretty busy and likely understaffed; because we are really patient people we waited 50 minutes before checking in on our order. We pressed the button and were told to place our order when we were ready. We explained that we had been waiting on mobile orders for 50 minutes, to which they said they’d check on our orders. At the one hour mark, every car beside us that arrived after us had came, placed and received their orders and left. My mobile order was also marked as completed. We use the button to call out again and receive the same response. “Order when you’re ready.” We explain AGAIN we have been waiting on mobile orders for an hour. They told us they’d check on it, they are short staffed. Once again, I totally understand being short staffed; however, every other person has come and gone at this point and we only had a total of 6 items (3 of those were drinks). We wait another 15 minutes before grabbing the attention of someone walking outside to which he says “what’re you waiting for? We’ll check on it”. We wait another 15 minutes before giving up pulling into the drive thru. We finally arrive at the drive thru speaker and explain the situation again, and are then asked to pull around and into the drive thru so they can “find our orders” (we are already in the drive thru?). Once we arrive at the window we waited another 30 minutes before they tried to give us the wrong order and asked us AGAIN what we were waiting for. We finally are told that they have “lost our orders” and want us to pull around to wait. No apologies, no shock at all that we have been there for now 2 hours. Now we’re pretty furious, and felt as if they were just waiting for us to give up and leave the entire time. My order was only 2 drinks to begin with, so I ask him if I can get the drinks before we pull around and he asks “do you just want a refund?” I understand that a normal person probably wouldn’t wait 2 hours for 2 drinks and would’ve taken the $6 loss, but because we try to be patient and understanding we stuck it out for far too long. It was the lack of empathy and response to the fact that they ignored us for 2 hours, wasted our time and didn’t even apologize once that was really upsetting. I also should mention that there were at least 2 employees standing around in the kitchen with their hands in their pockets doing nothing, and they were all joking around with no urgency whatsoever to complete any tasks. I have never been so flabbergasted by an experience in my life, I was truly at a loss for words. We were way too polite about the situation, but I genuinely will avoid this place at all costs...
Read moreMy spouse and I arrived after eating dinner from home and decided to get a vanilla shake . Two cars were ahead of us after we had initially ordered at intercom.,but it took about 16min to get to the window. A young male worker opened cashier area window repeated my cost and I handed my bank card to him . He then swiped his employee card and received a receipt of paper from cashier machine..wrapped my card with it and proceeded to walk away from window and went out the back door! I was confused that my order was not made yet and the employee left the building with my card!? I tried to wave down another employee for an explanation..but I was ignored from the manager that looked my way. I quickly moved forward to see where the employee possibly went with my card around the corner. I see he's at the outdoor walk up order machine swiping my card a couple times before I ask what he's doing with my card outside? His response was "this is how we do it " with a quick glance at me and continued what he was doing. I quickly got out of my car to walk over to him to see exactly what he was doing with my card. I mentioned that it is not proper customer service without explanation when he took my card to walk away and out of the building . Without any concern for my explanation ..he said " inside doesn't work so this what we do" The manager that initially ignored me had came out and relieved the employee to take over with my order. As he continued with my order( 1 small shake) keep in mind I saw alot of button pushing and a couple of swipes of my card before the power went out on the screen . A 3rd employee came out and over heard my conversation. She must of been another employee manager. Her first words were " we are not like that here" which confused me because she didn't here anything i was talking about. The initial manager ask her to turn the power back on and he said to me " sorry for this mix up will give you your shake for free. Then after the power went back in about 10 seconds..he then tried to proceed with my card and order. I quickly told him please don't swipe my card again and I just told him never mind with my order. I was concerned with my card being used improperly and I was concerned if the employee inside was making my shake might do something wrong with it out of spite of the situation. 21 min waiting for nothing . Bad experience and I see why this store has a 2.8 stars out of 5 . It's not my first bad experience at this location ..but its probably my last . I'm afraid to return to this location . Lack of efficiency amongst employees , lack of customer service , one bright spot ..the female manager with tattoo on her face has good communication skills that I've seen with...
