Biagio's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Fair Lawn

I have ordered there many times and it has always been mediocre at best. We order because the location is convenient. The last few times we ordered the meals have been completely over cooked, the last order the shrimp parm was so over cooked it could not be eaten, when I called to let them know they argued with me that it was fine, so much for the customer is always right, they then offered me a $10 credit, the meal is $19, eventually they agreed to make me a new dish and asked me to bring the other one back. I had to go out of my way to go back to the restaurant and pick up the new food. When I got there, they were no apology, and they were rude. Also, apparently, they charge a fee if you use a credit card no matter how much you spend. I noticed this when I was told what the total was and then when I handed them the credit card the total went up and was only told when I ask why the total was different. I asked when I went back this time how they can do that without even having a sign-up advising customers and the guy behind the counter said there is a sign right there and pointed to the front of the counter. When I told him there was no sign, he just said you have a nice day, again in a rude way. I usually don’t waste my time writing a bad review, but this was the absolute WORST for and service I have ever encountered (you can see from my other reviews that I try to post positive. They were never great; I even saw them put bread from out table that we didn’t eat back in their breadbasket but I feel the need to warn everyone to stay away and not waste their money!

Will never order again from here. I ordered online via food delivery app, driver showed up 25 minutes AFTER the estimated time window closed, however that is not the real issue. Real issue that the driver started demanding a tip and telling me that the tip amount is blank. I told him, why would the tip amount not be black if tips are left AFTER the order is complete, if the food is hot and if the delivery is made within timely manner and I can add the tip in the app after the delivery. He again says, but there is no tip listed. I asked the delivery guy, are you asking me for a tip? He answered No, I am just letting you know. I told him, as I stated this is an app order and tips can be added after delivery is done. At this point he turned around and as he started walking away he mumbled something under his nose, I asked him to turn around and say it again whatever that is that he said. He ignored several times and walked to his car.. This was a younger man of what appeared to be an Arabic descent. Now, to the owner of the restaurant, was this good customer service? Does this driver deserve a tip? This was my FIRST AND LAST order from this place, ohh and obviously I will also inform others not to order from you due to incompetent, bad customer service and obviously employing an individual with 0 manners! I have ordered from this location over a handful of times and have had no issue. I will never order from here again after my experience today! I ordered my food at 5:45 and was told it would be a 40-50 minute delivery time. My food didn’t arrive to my hotel which is the Hyatt in Fairlawn (2-5 minutes away) until 7:17pm. I called to speak to an owner as it says down in previous reviews to be put on hold once for 7 minutes by a phone girl. Called back again to speak to a manager again to have some angry man on the phone to tell me never to order from them again then hangs up on me (which I promise you I won’t) then to call back and have another woman come on the phone and reiterate to me that it took them 1 hour and 12 minutes to driver my food after I was told it would be 40 minutes when I ordered and I shouldn’t be upset.. I should enjoy my food. LOL are you kidding me? Enjoy your cold pizza and cold meatball parm, no thank you! I got a hard time getting my refund back of 41 dollars back so I’m disputing it with my bank.
