Northern Latitudes — Restaurant in Fairbanks

Worst service Ive had in quite some time. Waited about 15 minutes for our server. He’s busy chatting up the other tables. He eventually makes it to our table. He doesn’t introduce himself just asked what we’d like. We order, simple, waffles and an omelet. He doesn’t write it down and I get the wrong ingredients in the omelet. Finally brings our food and I explain it’s incorrect. He offers to have it redone & I explain I don’t want to wait another 15 minutes and he reassures me it won’t. Meanwhile, he’s all over the place, helping others, helping the manager, never goes to the kitchen. Eventually he sees my frustration and tells me it should be out any moment. At this point I’ve had my fill and after an hour I’m not waiting any more. Please cancel. The manager asked about my experience but seemed unconcerned that his wait staff was too busy helping him to provide good customer service. ...

In the winter I have to eat here often... cause I stay in hotel and it’s difficult to get out in bad weather. In summer the food is better because people can get to other restaurants. In the winter they really don’t cook food here it’s mostly prepared food that is heated up. Kinda like TV dinner on a plate. Probably one of the worst restaurants in Fairbanks.... and that’s saying something. If you don’t have any other options this place will work. It’s just cheep food served with a big price tag but kinda typical for Fairbanks. Once tourists start coming in summer this restaurant changes its food and service. Then the food...
