I’m sorry but this is not it… this is by far no means authentic Jamaican food and even if it’s cooked by a Jamaican I’m sorry but this is not a proper representation of Jamaican cuisine.. the plantains that were supposed to be ripe were dry and hard practically inedible. I got 5 plates: oxtail, 2 brown stew chicken, curry chicken and all was a mediocre joke. The brown stew and curry chicken was shredded (not how it’s supposed to be done) and taste less. The rice and peas and plain white rice was an even bigger joke. I also got the jerk chicken that was subpar compared to others I have had. Oh I also got some Pattie’s and those barely passed but was doughy (thank god for the hint of pepper in it) this was a complete waste. The store really needs to improve cooking and anyone who knows Caribbean cuisine will agree. Because if this is what they are serving and having people think is really Jamaican food it is a shame for them and...
Read moreI have been a regular customer at this establishment for several years. The proprietor, Gentleman, is a highly respected individual and his persona alone instills a desire to return. Read moreEat-A-Vybe is a whole experience. The owner is one man who does every activity himself without any help from anyone else. Subsequently, the wait times vary, but they are worth it! Friendly staff anytime day or night! Take out orders serve the place best because of limited seating. But you're more than welcome to wait inside. Carribean music serenads you while you wait. Most menu items are prepared fresh that day! Sometimes the taste will vary because of this. But the owner is very accommodating. If you call ahead of time, he will tailor make anything you ask to your desire. He takes his customers concerns extremely seriously! Eat-A-Vybe is a one of a kind Carribean cuisine. A unique restaurant with powerful flavors! Clean countertops and chairs. My favorite dishes are Curry chicken, calalou, and the chicken soups specializes for the winters...
