If you live in Fairbanks and still haven’t snapped a pic under the Moose Antler Arch… what are you even doing?! This quirky, antler-clad landmark is basically the crown jewel of downtown and a rite of passage for anyone calling the Interior home. Whether you’re showing off our hometown to visitors or just want an Instagram-worthy moment that screams “Only in Alaska,” this spot delivers. Add it to your Fairbanks bucket list—you’ll thank me later (and so will your...

The restrooms were foul. I've been in Porta-Potties at outdoor music festivals that were far cleaner. Over half the toilets were clogged with toilet paper and poop. Due to the lack of options people had continued to use them without the ability to flush them. On other toilet seats there was poop smeared and splattered. The sinks didn't drain. There was no soap. It...

Super cool museum that gives a great overview of Alaska, and especially the native American history. They have a neat property with an antler statue thingy outside that is good for pictures. They have lots of visual and audio effects, and lots of facts to keep in mind. Be ready to spend 30 mins to an hour here. Nice gift...

What an incredible visitors center! This facility lays to shame so many other info centers I've visited. This thing has loads of info about Alaska, Fairbanks, the first nations and their charters, the rushes, and so much more. And please patronize the gift shop. Everything is pretty much hand made, authentic, and well crafted!
