I came expecting to grab a quick dinner. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, with an extended wait in the drive-thru. Upon reaching the speaker, I encountered some difficulty communicating my order to the employee, which he proceeded to convey to me that it was somehow my fault. (I am not responsible for the faulty intercom system.) Despite my attempts to clarify, they continued to misunderstand the details, and after finally placing the order, I patiently waited my turn to pay and receive my items.
My order consisted of a Nacho Belle Grande with extra cheese, substituting beef with grilled chicken, a small strawberry limonada with mild sauce, nacho fries, and a burrito. However, when I received my frozen limonada, it appeared to have been made and left sitting for some time, as it had begun to melt. Despite this, I decided to accept it and waited an additional 5mins for the rest of my order to be ready. I reside only three minutes away from the establishment, and upon arriving home, I discovered that the limonada, which was supposed to be a frozen beverage, had thawed and was no longer in the anticipated state. Furthermore, the mild sauce was entirely absent, and the nachos I received fell short of my expectations, particularly considering my request for additional toppings. The nachos were sparsely topped, leaving more than half of the chips devoid of any ingredients. The chips themselves were fragmented into small pieces, and the ones I managed to consume were stale and excessively hard. This experience was deeply disappointing and not an isolated incident. I anticipate that future visits may yield similar unsatisfactory service and low-quality food. It is concerning that customer service and the pride taken in one's work have become such rare expectations when dining out. It is disheartening to observe the simultaneous increase in prices and decrease in standards and expectations within the business community. This trend poses challenges for consumers seeking reliable and...
Read moreTaco Bell is my favorite fast food restaurant. This location got my order right and the food came out fast. The Trotwood location, which I unfortunately live closest to, is horrible. Trotwood is slow and every order is wrong. They have also overcharged me for things I didn't order and I didn't know until I got home. At least the one by Wright State has a small screen where you can check your order before paying, though it isn't the most modern screen they have. I will never go to the Trotwood location again, I have been burned too many times by them. Englewood is 50/50, though I have only been there twice, so I am not ready to remove them yet, it could have been a bad day. I ate there as a dine in, so when my order was wrong they were able to fix it. Brown Street I think I might have just had a bad experience with an idiot cashier. It was awful, without going into detail, I spent around 15 minutes trying to get my order in, like I was training her on her first day and she never saw a register before. I just wanted my taco fresco style. I should have just left but I was hungry. So any time my order is right and the cashier understands how to enter it and I am not overcharged, I am absolutely amazed and give them an A+, though in reality that is the way every transaction is supposed to be. Taco Bell, if you are listening, please update the technology in your older stores so there are less likely to be errors. Also, the Dayton area really needs additional training, especially the ...
Read moreNever usually patronize Taco Bell as I'm not a huge fan of their menu except for the Doritos Locos Tacos and their fries (and I'm a big foodie). Felt in the mood for Locos Tacos though so I put in a mobile order and came here. Big mistake. Good thing I wasn't in a rush and I'm usually patient.
Don't know if it's just their evening crew or what's going on, but their drive-thru service, at least at that time of night, is ABSURDLY slow. I had about 3 cars in front of me both during and after I had confirmed my mobile order with them, and the third car up sat at the window for around 5-10 minutes because it ended up taking them FOREVER to get them their order. I recall watching a truck throw it in reverse and pull out of the drive thru while we were all still waiting behind this car (there were at least 2 cars behind me too). Eventually the car got their drink and then took off; after that it was still a little slow up to me getting my Locos Tacos and then taking off.
Needless to say, anybody wanting Taco Bell should probably drive down to the one on Dayton-Xenia Rd because this one might drive you up a wall, especially if...
