Someone on Reddit tried to say the reviews for Halal Burger are fake. LOL - well, here's a real one. Listen, I'm not saying Halal Burger change my life... But I'm also not saying it didn't. If you've ever wanted a burger that's just greasy enough to hit the spot but not leave your hands slick like you rushled it out of "Five Guys" bag, then this is THE PLACE.

The seasoning? Next level. No bland, sad burger patties here. Every bite is packed with Pakistani magic - aka: flavor. It's not an overwhelming amount of spice, my mother does not like spicy food, but these actually have flavor to them, unlike burgers at any other burger joint. It's honestly the most seasoned burger I've had, and that includes all the overhype chains. Plus, these burgers are FILLING. Like, actually "skip-dinner-later" type full. The toppings are freshhhh. As in, real sliced jalapenos on the jalapeno burger... Not those sad pickled rings from a jar that taste like regret.

Their chicken wings are a triumph. Seasoned better than most places and they don't draw them and sauce to cover up flavorless chicken. You can actually taste the meat... imagine that?!?!

The fries are always golden to perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Basically the textbook definition of how fries SHOULD be made.

Their signature burgers come with a "special sauce" that is a bit decisive... Some people love it, some prefer without it. But they are so accommodating and they will happily make it without it if you ask - PLUS they don't act like you've asked them to donate a kidney for modifying your burger - which is super appreciated. Some clerks act like it's the hardest task you've ever asked for. These folks don't.

They USED TO have a fajita burger (RIP) that has actual, fresh peppers and onions on it - but it seems to have been replaced by the BBQ bacon burger. Before you panic - yes, its beef bacon - BUT you can't tell a difference. It tastes just as food and its halal-friendly.

Vegetarians - THEY GOT YOU. The Impossible burger is now on the menu. I tricked my husband into trying one and HE LIKED IT.

NOW ON TO THE CHICKEN SANDWICHES AND FINGERS. I would put them up against Popeyes any day. The Halal Burger version might even win just on seasoning alone. Plus, the mango habanero chicken sandwich is a serious winnfor people who want something more exciting than your standard fried bird.

Beyond the food (which is consistently great at every location I've been to) - THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS KIND, CALM, AND INCREDIBLY SWEET. Almost every time we've visited with our toddler - they've offered her a free shake or ice cream. UNPROMPTED. I've seen them offer free treats to other little kids and adults too - JUST BECAUSE. That kind if generosity is rare when every restaurant is trying to nickle & dime you for a ketchup packet or cup of water - it shows they actually care about their customers.

Yes, the staff can be a little bit quiet, but they're always helpful, respectful, and accommodating. Some folks might misread it as standoffish, but honestly... Take a beat. They're doing their best -+ likely in a second language -- and they're doing it WELL.

Did I mention that this place is always clean? I've watched them wipe down tables with FRESH TOWELS AND SOAP during lulla, not just "the dirty rag" trick.

If I really had to nitpick, my only complaint is that one time they were out of diet Coke. The horror! I had to drink (gasp) water or full sugar soda. So maybe a few more sugar-free drink options would be nice. But that's really the only flaw I've encountered.

At the end of the day, this is my husband's favorite burger spot, and all my non-halal friends love it too. Why? Because it's seasoned beautifully, the food is consistently solid and the people are genuinely kind. Bonus? They're open almost on every holiday. My parents even went on Christmas.
