American Deli — Restaurant in Fairburn

I place the order at 9:01 I did not look at the time that they close( 9:30) so I took my nephew to McDonalds time we got out of line and cross back over they had close and the time was 9:39 so I guess it only took them 9 minutes to clean up and leave the place. I have my receipt and all I wanted was my money to be reimbursed or the food. I asked to speak to a manager which they said there's no manager on duty so I guess it's a bunch of ungrateful kids running the place. I also asked them when will the manager return they don't know sometimes next week I don't know. So I said you don't know when your manager's going to return and she said no but I know what time we close she was so busy trying to be smart when she was being very dumb and ignorant and not showing any intelligence at all to be even working with customers she has no customer service whatsoever. I guess she thought she was being cute becauseyou could hear her little friends that work there sniggling in the background and I'm pretty sure a customers was around. So that goes to show me the whole place is not even being managed at all. It's people like her that gives your store a bad name. You can tell they don't care about anything the store or the customers when I was placing my order a a lady came into complain that she had been calling and calling and calling and no one answer. And she told the lady The phone never rang in the store.. More like she cut the ringer off I am a manager and I deal with kids everyday and you have to be on your game to be on them. Please hire some people that have bills to pay and not things to do.. like the little ungrateful girl that answered the phone on June 6th...

Called in order #197 Ordered the delicious Philly Cheese Stake Combo. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes I got there in 10min gave the name paid for meal and only to get him 2-3 minutes away and the food was less than warm. I called and complained that food is cold. So I was told to return the meal and I did so. They were very accommodating but as I watched the preparation of my philly cheese sandwich the employee slim Mexican guy took spatula with mayonnaise walked over toward back wall and SPAT ON IT then spread it on the bun as this was happening the Asian guy assuming he was the manager walk in. I was in shock. Is ridiculous!!! I paid: 34.75! The Fanta drinks were flat (no fizzle). The fish was okay. However, I notice that there is a difference in the American Deli’s choice of: Batter or cornmeal. Batter tastes better on their fish. This place uses cornmeal breading. They give you a ton of rice and fries. But, it still doesn’t make up for the cost. The rice was spoiled! You could smell it in the rice. The vegetables and and eggs were fresh. Just not the rice. The smell of the rice almost killed my appetite. I should call the Health Department about this matter! I also noticed, while I was there that, the young ladies that used to work there, weren’t there. The entire establishment was being ran by Mexicans.
