I travel with a large group to this area annually, and we usually hit up Los Mariachis at least twice during our trip. We love the food, the fun party vibe on Cinco weekend, it's convenient location. But...our recent trip, we experienced mediocre to horrible service on 2 occasions. The first night, we had food that arrived significantly later than the rest of our party. Drinks took a while. Our server was new, her 2nd day, and she was alone. No one was helping her and she wasn't shadowing an experienced server. Not a peep from the manager regarding the food that came out 20 minutes after everyone else's. Our server did ok..we were a large party and expected things to be a little slower for us. It wasn't bad enough that we didn't want to return...however.. The second night was a disaster to put it lightly. One member of our party arrived earlier and sat alone at the bar. His behavior rapidly declined shortly after the rest of us arrived. We suspect he was roofied- possibly someone looking to rob a lone tourist. The attitude of the parties he was sitting near shifted when they realized he wasn't actually alone. We had the same server as the first night, and she was even more overwhelmed. People didn't get food they'd ordered, drinks never showed up. I spent a large part of the night watching her try to navigate the computer system, and no one bothered to help her. I saw her try to ask for help, and she was ignored. This was allegedly her 3rd night. I've dined out a lot. I've never seen a new server left to twist in the wind like this, especially on a large party. Our party did trickle in and out for smoke breaks, so some people never had their orders taken, which, is on us, and not something that influenced our overall opinion- we're a pretty laid back group. However, for everyone that did order, the missing drinks and missing/wrong food was on the restaurant. The server brought over the manager to talk to the person in our party who received neither food or drink-(our server had the ticket in her hand, so the food got put in) to say that the manager couldn't have cared less is being kind. The food never came, neither did the drink. My drink showed up by the time we were ready to leave- I love feeling forced to chug a $20 drink. It also wasn't lost on us that our server was the only non person of color working the floor and was being ignored by the rest of the servers. Tables around us were getting food and drinks. Our server was very pleasant, she was trying to make things right, while also trying to learn the job on the fly. Throwing a brand new server to wolves on the busiest weekend of year is bad management and possibly something more. We never received a single apology from management and we all paid our full tabs. In other words, nothing was comped for the inconveniences (we didn't ask for or expect this, but it's a fairly standard offer when an experience goes this awry) We love the food here, and the convenient location, but our group decided to not visit again on our third night. And unless something changes, I don't think we'll be back next year either. Which, is a shame. I just can't support a business that is willing to treat an employee this way(things felt intentionally sabotaged against this woman), thus treating customers this way. The manager should have been more hands on here, especially once it was brought to their attention that things were going poorly. Again, not once did we get an apology from the manager, or even a single check in to see if things were going ok(again, the server was very apologetic and we...

The food is pretty good, and it happens to be the ONLY choice for Mexican in Fairburn, which is probably why they're still open. I have tried in house dining, ordering it for delivery, and ordering it for pickup. I have never had an order that was correct for everyone at the table. I have tried dining in twice... first time there were 8 of us and the waitress left after taking 5 orders and didn't come back until she was delivering appetizers to half the party. The second time was worse. I ordered fajitas, and they brought me the skillet with nothing else. When the manager came over he rushed in the back and grabbed tortillas. I had to pull out the menu and show him that it was supposed to have sour cream, guacamole and veggies because he didn't know that came with it. Let that sink in... the manager didn't know what the standards setup is for fajitas in a Mexican restaurant. But wait... it gets better folks. When they brought the check, there was an upcharge on the ticket for the chicken on my "CHICKEN FAJITAS!" When I pointed this out, the manager then tried to tell me that it was something in the system that was automatic and he couldn't do anything about it.. So he graciously decides that he can give me a "15% discount" because there has been so many issues with the dinner, but when he came back, it was a 3% discount. When I pointed this out, he said he would have to check the math. This is when I showed him the blocks with the recommended tip amounts written right there on the bottom of the check... and wouldn't you know it, one of those was 15%. If your ordering delivery, give yourself plenty of time to make 2 trips before you plan on eating. If not someone is eating something they didn't order, or they will have to wait on the second round because their food wasn't part of the first drop off. Pick up is the same... you might still end up with the wrong filling in your burritos of enchiladas! SURPRISE... you ordered seafood, and got ground beef!
So like I said... good food, and terrible service. They may be the only option... but consider...
Read moreWhere do I begin?? Initially when I pulled up, I thought this might be a cool spot. I thought it had a bit of ambiance. It was Friday night and they had a live DJ. People seemed to be enjoying themselves. I ordered some food to go. I live about 12 minutes away. After getting home and eating only a portion of the food I started to become ill. I was sick for a Week. I had to go to the ER. After recovering, I went back to speak with the owner. My first conversation was with the manager, who says he has no power to right bad customer experiences. I’m diverted to the owner. Long story short- elusive, Condescending and patronizing. He passively aggressively tried to call me a con artist. He told me “ somebody tried this on him before”. I explained I had nothing to do wirb that. I had medical proof and my receipt. I returned all uneaten food with the receipt. After asking me for the medical bill, he ghosted me. This establishment has no integrity. I feel like this has happened before. He blames his customers obviously by the statement saying people he has made sick have “tried this before”. Instead of clamping down in his food handling , storage and preparation. No accountability here. When you see a sign that says “No Refunds”- BEWARE. That means even if your food is horrible and the service was as well- you will still pay for it. ADDITIONALLY- what business has NO WEBSITE or Social Media Platform of ANY kind?? The business that is trying to avoid all of the BAD reviews they deserve. Finally- the food wasn’t great. Ordered a Chicken Chimichanga. Bland as heck. Meat TOTALLY not seasoned. Guacamole was basically a mashed up Ava ado with bits of onion. I make better Guacamole, and I’m Native American. Eat at Cozumel on Old National Hwy. you don’t need to retain an attorney to...
