Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Fairburn

9/4/25 12:45p (receipt info) I approached the employee who was cleaning work stations. No smile, no pleasant greeting. I was asked “do you know what you want?” I responded with a yes and started to order. The employee interrupted me and said “we have no specialty bagels we only have sesame, c.chip, blueberry, plain & Asiago.” While I was ordering she interrupted yet again to ask another employee to make my order because she was off at 1:30. I don’t know what his response was but the employee finished taking my order and I paid. I walked away to the pick up counter and the employee continues to clean up work stations for 13 minutes before she started preparing my order. As she was making my sandwiches she approached me and said “we only have Swiss is that ok?” My response was “no.” The employee rolled her eyes and walked away back to the prep table. She reached under to the cooler and took out a large orange block of cheese slammed it on the prep table and cut it open. Clearly she lied. 20 minutes after I placed my order I was handed my bag and left. I got home to feed my husband and his bagel sandwich wasn’t even correct. This location is fairly new. We were very excited for this restaurant because we used to live closer to your Newnan GA location and spent lots of money and time enjoying that restaurant. Every single time we’ve ordered at this new (Fairburn GA) the employees are lazy, not friendly, pissed off or get something wrong with our order. We are extremely disappointed and it’s gotten to the point that we will not be back. We understand it’s only a sandwich but who wants to order from a location that doesn’t appreciate our business. There are plenty of other options for restaurants on this road. If I was the owner I’d get better at choosing employees to represent my company....

Went today to visit on my lunch with my husband and was extremely impressed by the quality and speed of the food preparation. I engaged with the man at the register who seemed to be of hispanic origin and there were two other men there that were extremely pleasant.

I went back and forth on if i should give the pregnant young lady a pass because she was pregnant and i sympathize with having to work and be pregnant (i was in her shoes a long time ago) but letting things slide in our community is how we hinder one another from growth and accountability.

This young lady was not representative of what the rest of the staff were displaying. She was clearly annoyed and unhappy, she did not listen to me and my husbands concern, cutting us off mid sentence. When i went to the register to ask for help, instead of coming up to the register she stared at me blankly. When I did not say anything she barked, DO YOU NEED SOMETHING? to which i responded I DO.

My entire visit was pleasant until my interaction with her. She was unhappy that we voiced our order was incorrect? I’m not sure, but this was not a visit that makes me want to patron this store again and it was my first visit.

Prior to the interaction, I talked with the other staff about my two dogs, and I even tipped because the staff was so welcoming. The pregnant lady quickly turned my visit to one that left a bad taste...

This is a tale of 2 visits...

1st Visit: I was excited to visit this new location. The staff was friendly and the location was clean. The order was 2 Avocado Veg Out's (No Tomatoes and Lightly Toasted), a Cinnamon & Raisin Bagel with Onion & Chive Shmear (Lightly Toasted), and a Vanilla Cold Brew Shake.

Those Veg Out's were atrocious. There was literally enough cream cheese and avocado to tint the color of the bagel itself, aka pretty much none. Not toasted at all. They definitely put the worst possible slices of squashed tomato slices on there as well. Called and spoke with the manager (Mia) and she was very apologetic and offered to remake the order that day or the next day.

2nd Visit: Made the same order as yesterday... 2 Avocado Veg Out's (No Tomatoes and Lightly Toasted), a Cinnamon & Raisin Bagel with Onion & Chive Shmear (Lightly Toasted), and a Vanilla Cold Brew Shake. Mia (Manager) took care of the 2 items that were incorrect from yesterday. Well... Can't say today's experience was an improvement from yesterday. Again this was a miss. The Avocado Veg Out's again were very sparse of Shmear and avocado and completely ignored the no tomatoes note.

Very disappointed overall, I will not be back anytime soon. I'll go back to my regular breakfast spots at Tim Hortons, Starbucks and the IHOP a...
