Very disappointed from start to finish. We walked in and was immediately greeted with that we were unable to order in person because their system was down. No problem stuff like that happens. However, we ordered on the app and two of our meals were chicken nuggets and we were informed after we order that they didn’t have any to serve us. So we attempted to get a refund however that was a long process. They were not willing to get a refund and kept insisting that I just get a different meal instead but my three year old did not want anything else. I was very polite to begin with even with the terrible attitude we were given. After about 15 minutes of going back and forth I told them if I wasn’t getting the food I paid for I wanted a refund and the woman turned away and rolled her eyes and told me that she wasn’t going to deal with my attitude. (How ironic) eventually they finally gave me my refund after that. When we sat down my 80 year old grandmother fell due to their Air Conditioning leaking. She slipped on a puddle of water with no sign or bucket indicating that was even something we should look for. Finally when we got our food there was a hair in our food and multiple ingredients missing because they “ran out” for example our meal just didn’t come with rice and they were not going to give a substitute without else prompting them that’s what we wanted. Well after we found two different hairs from our meal I decided to watch them cook their meals and there was not much sanitary precautions being taken by them. None had hair nets on. One girl had this long red hair not tied up or anything and while she was waiting for some food to be done cooking was playing with her phone in one hand and hair with the other and then just grabbed the food without washing them or even gloves on for that matter.
If anyone has made it this far you probably realize this probably just sounds like an upset customer writing but let me tell you. I have never left a review before for a place but this experience was so bad that I actually felt compelled to share my experience. I would rate 0 stars if I could. This was my last trip...
Read moreI was on Senoia Rd. and there was no way I could be that close to Pita Street Food and not stop in. As such… Guess what I had for lunch!
Pita Street Food is super easy to find as it sits right on the main strip. The parking is a little tight but there’s usually a spot or two. I pulled up, parked, and got excited as I was heading towards Pita Street Food. LoL!!!!
Walking in, the restaurant is very clean. There is ample seating, and the staff welcomes you in as soon as I come through the door. As you step deeper into the space, your nose is overtaken with the aroma of fresh spices and fresh veggies all waiting to be used in your order.
Today was one of those days I was hungry so I decided to get the Chicken Pita Platter with a Side Salad instead of rice. I placed my order, paid, and took a seat until my order was ready… While sitting at the table, I could see the cook making my food. Everything he used was fresh and you could smell everything coming together as the chicken cooked. I was so ready to eat.
Once my food was ready, my name was called and I was good to go.
Opening my plate put me in a place of happiness. Fresh chicken, a super bright side salad and warm fresh pita bread. Ummmmmmmmmm!!!!
My platter was absolutely delicious. Everything on it was a 10 out of 10. So much so that I want to go back tomorrow. LoL!!!!! The chicken was tender and had the perfect char-grill to it. The salad was fresh and tasted amazing with the Greek dressing. The pita bread was fresh almost as if it was recently made and paired well with the chicken and the salad. Next time I’m asking for extra pita bread. LoL.
All in all, Pita Street Food was an ideal choice for lunch. If you’re in the mood for something fresh, filling, and flavorful; make a trip to Pita Street Food and...
Read moreWent here one evening after ordering online; I went at the suggested pick up time. There was a man in front of me who had to come back because they got his order wrong......this was the first red flag...they didnt have my order ready and I was told it was cooking now.
I left and then came back to pick it up. Cashier tells me she tried to stop me from leaving as they did have the food already done. She proceeds to hand me a cold bag of food. I had the feeling she was trying to make it my fault. But I didnt care to argue at this point, I was already irritated. Got into the car and as we are going home, I check the bag.
COMPLETELY WRONG ORDER.....now, at this point I cant believe it. Not even slightly similar. So we have late, cold, and incorrect food in my bag. We go back to restaurant. Cashier completely ignores my presence, using the customers in front of her as a distraction. She saw me come in so she could have least told me to hold on or something. Anyway another employee there recognizes me from coming there the 2 other times that evening, and is actually concerned as to why I was there. Whoever you are young lady, thank you for your customer service that your coworker clearly lacks. Mysteriously the correct order was up there...but had been sitting for ages.....Cmon guys...its a no brainer. Redo the order...I told her what was wrong and after asked who the manager was. He didnt look to happy to help me, but I told him everything. I asked for them to redo the order which they did...and they were not happy about. I got my food finally...but it didnt have much meat in it at all (I know how much is usually in it)....but hey...atleast my Greek fries were good.
I'm never going...
