Worst experience at a Firehouse I have ever had. I am traveling and stopped as I am a semi regular at a firehouse in my hometown and enjoy the food and service at that location. However, here the cashier, who was ever so conveniently not wearing a name tag, had a massive attitude and acted as though placing an order was a hardship she had to endure. She made multiple errors when entering food then ARGUED with me about it, saying "I asked you that already and YOU said it was okay" when in fact she had not asked (things like what size, is this other cheese okay, etc) any of the questions she said she had. She got more and more aggressive in manner and started a form of malicious compliance by demanding answers for every food step, ie: is cheddar cheese okay on you cheddar brisket? Is BBQ okay on that brisket? Keep in mind, the only change made to that sandwich was "no mayo". Every single item in the order was treated the same way, and there was a man behind the counter who also made a comment "this order is giving me a headache". Two standard menu orders, one plain sandwich, and one sandwich with no mayo. Nothing exotic or drastic in my opinion but apparently holding mayo on one sandwich was headache inducing and hard for them. During the process of placing the order, and the subsequent reorder due to her errors, three or more people came back into the shop with their sandwiches and requested they be fixed as they were not given what they ordered. As the other orders before us had all been wrong, we checked the sandwiches to make sure the "extremely difficult no mayo" sandwich was correct. The same man behind the counter who had complained about the sandwiches giving him a headache commented on it and said "ah man when you gonna trust us?" As there had been such difficulty getting the order in and the multiple errors in front of me I didn't trust the order to be correct. Especially as the lady taking the order was so aggressive and clearly upset with having to do her job this evening. My friend and I would have left after the first snotty remark if we had not had other people waiting on us. Food itself was fine, but the cashier (who rang in the order under someone else's name) made the visit so awful I will never go back. Extremely disappointed in this location and will cross this place off my list of fast food to enjoy when I make my trips to...
Read moreHorrible customer service! I've never experienced this type of service ever from any Firehouse Subs establishment. I come in at 8:40pm I stand at the register for 6 minutes without even so much as being acknowledged or addressed. All of the associates see me and look at me several times, still nothing. They were too busy arguing over an order because another customer made a complaint about his order being wrong. The customer became so frustrated with them that he didn't even want his sandwich remade, he simply wanted to tell them of their mistake. Even after that they still continued to argue amongst each other about who messed up the order. Meanwhile I'm still standing at the counter waiting for my order to be taken. By this time 2 other customers walk in and are standing behind me. I literally stare a hole in one guy and he says just one moment ma'am. He then asks where's ..(forgot her name) and goes to get her because she's cleaning the bathroom. She rushes out and apologizes and I told her it wasn't her fault because those other guys clearly saw me standing here and didn't notify you nor did they even acknowledge me. My order wasn't ready until 9:00pm. The guy called my name and I walk to the counter to get my food and I stop and stare at the bag as it is covered with Italian dressing all over the outside of the bag. So much so that there is a hole in the bag. The guy looks at me and I look back at him and at this point we are having a staring contest. He says what? I don't respond. He looks at the bag and says "oh my bad let me get you another bag." I say "thank you could you please?" He then says "my fault I ain't know it was like that" as if I'm some teenager and not a grown woman. As I was leaving the same young man who initially got the cashier thanked me and told me to have a good night. Please teach your associates to acknowledge customers and speak to them in a respectful manner. Oh and keep the arguments and unprofessional language...
Read moreThe past two times I ate here were so disappointing. This restaurant is disgusting with no effort made to clean it. Let time, a customer dropped a large drink, and I watched staff throw a “wet floor” sign over it without ever cleaning it. Today, the drink machine had syrup from various sodas caked all over it. The floors were disgusting, and I saw tons of trash, and even a wad of hair, tumbling across the floor.
The staff are unprofessional, unengaged, unmotivated, and slow. They literally could not care less about the horrible job they are doing. Today, all the staff were in sweats instead of uniforms, and looked like they just rolled out of bed. We waited 45+ minutes for our food, which is more than you would wait at a sit down restaurant, and unacceptable for a fast food establishment.
It is apparent that this facility is poorly managed. Firehouse has always had a reputation of being exceptional, but this location is exceptionally horrible, and tanking their food name and reputation. Serious changes need to be made here, from the top down. I rarely leave poor reviews, because I understand that every business has had days. Unfortunately, after multiple bad experiences both personally, and reported by friends, it’s clear this is just their standard operating procedure. I won’t be giving them the opportunity to offer further...
