Touchdown Wings — Restaurant in Fairburn

I have gotten take out multiple times in the past, so I didn't think the quality of the food would be any different from past experiences. I ordered a 50 piece wing combo, 20 medium hot and 30 lemon pepper. When I say these were the worst wings EVER...I mean EVER! The lemon pepper wings tasted like old chicken that had been sitting around, then re-dropped in the fryer to make them hot. Both flavors looked and tasted like the chicken had a disease. Every piece was pink, brown or black down to the bone. At one point, I thought that maybe they tried to cook this order from frozen/unthawed pieces. Needless to say, I had to throw away the chicken, and we had to go get something else to eat. I don't know how customer service would have worked out. I didn't contact the restaurant. We were so disappointed and still hungry that our main thought was to get some other food. I won't return to this particular touchdown wings. The quality of the food has gradually gone down since I started frequenting them over the past few years. I stopped going as often, but now I'm done. I guess I'll start back going to the American deli across the street from Greenbriar mall whenever I want some wings in the future...I'm almost...

First of all, the customer service from speaking to someone over the phone, placing an order, to picking up my order has been an amazing experience. Their lemon pepper wings are absolutely delicious, and because I wear braces, I ask them to fry my chicken lightly and they continue to cook it to perfection.

The fries are lightly seasoned, but I love how they open up your box before you pay for your order and let you check your food, in addition to asking if you’d like more salt or other types of seasoning added.

I found this restaurant after 8pm on Christmas Eve while driving down Senoia Rd looking for something to eat because every fast food chain I normally visit was closed due to the holiday. That was my first visit and not only did I fall in love with the food, I was appeased that they were still open when no other establishment was. 1st & last visit. Overpriced and very mediocre. They didn't give the extra sauce I paid for and I didn't know it until I got home. I had to ask for the drink that came with the combo. I got spicy garlic parm wings, which were not bad in flavor but not as good as American Deli's or my own. Wings were very chewy which is better than rubbery wings but seriously??? A wing restaurant that doesn't know how to make really good wings or FRIES... fries are the main side (unless you pay a lot more for something else), but they're just crinkle fries that taste like oven baked crinkle fries. I asked for seasoning salt but they dropped the ball here, too. Again, seems they should have a good French fry with as much as they charge. The catfish was a good size but the coating was just okay in flavor and not cooked quite long enough. Hush puppies were a little doughy too. In summary, I paid $24 for 2 pieces of fish, 2 sm. hush puppies, a good many fries that didn't taste so good I threw half of away, 6...
