This place serves food fast! We placed the order and the food came out in just 5-10 minutes. Our food tasted really good. The portion is generous and the price is reasonable. The spicy beef soup was hardy with plenty of meat. They don't skimp on any of the meat here. We will be back to try other menu items to get a better idea of this restaurant. We also got the seafood shrimp and roast pork soup. It was really tasty. The broth has a lot of flavor because they added ground pork to the broth to and more flavor. The spring roll did not have much meat in it. Therefore the flavor was just okay. We also had the fried crepe with pork and shrimp. There were a few shrimps and some pieces of pork with bean sprouts inside. The flavor of the crepe had coconut flavor which gave it a real nice taste. Clay pot fish was delicious. It was slightly on the salty side but that's what a stew is supposed to be. The fish was fresh and the texture was very soft and delicious. He highly recommend getting the clay pot fish. The grilled meat with vermicelli or on top of rice has a very sweet taste. If you don't like sweet taste with your meat then you will not like this. They also have the grilled pork in a banh mi (French baguette style sandwich). The grilled pork or grilled beef or grilled shrimp can also be purchased with thin vermicelli with lettuce and basil. Or you can ask for a combination and they will accommodate. That is a very big plate and...

Ambiance (🌟) - There was plenty of space and multiple TV screens hanging around playing food television shows.
Service (🌟) - The food came out pretty quick (actually, it was normal for your average pho restaurant). Just like almost every pho restaurant, the waiter always forgets to bring me extra cilantro, which is expected so don't ask for the extra cilantro until after your bowl of pho comes out.
Price (🌟) - The price is normal for a bowl of pho in Northern Virginia.
Food (🌟) - The bowl of pho that I had was exactly what pho should taste like so there really isn't anything to worry about if you came here for the pho. I got the lunch special so it came with a 12oz soda and a single roll (summer/spring). The summer roll was the same as any other summer roll. I had a taste of the vermicelli noodle dish and that was definitely not up to par with your average Vietnamese restaurant but who really comes here for anything other than the pho?
Overall Experience (🌟) - I can see myself making this my go to pho spot for now since I currently live walking distance. If you just want a simple bowl of pho, this place can satisfy it, but don't get anything else (vermicelli, unless they change the noodles to...

I’ve had an up-and-down experience at Pho Duong, but after my recent visit, I’m happy to say that things have definitely improved!
My first visit here was disappointing to say the least.
However, I decided to give it another shot, and I’m glad I did. This time around, everything was spot on. The broth was rich and flavorful, with that perfect balance of spices that you hope for in a good pho. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the meat was tender and fresh. Even the herbs and bean sprouts tasted incredibly fresh.
What really stood out was the service—my server was attentive, friendly, and quick to check in. The atmosphere was also much more pleasant than before, with a warmer vibe and better attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes.
I’m relieved that Pho Duong has redeemed itself in my eyes, and I’m now more than happy to return for my pho cravings. If you’re in the area, don’t be discouraged by past reviews—give it a try, and you might just enjoy it as much as I...
