Found this location in Fairfax a couple of weeks ago. Decided to stop by the end of last week and give it a try. I got a half a chicken, and a quarter chicken with sides. The food wad really good. Service was good, my only issue was they cheated me on the green sauce. Based on their menu, I should’ve gotten three green sauces, only got two. Not a huge deal, but it just sucks when people and nickel and dime you for sauce and charge extra for sauce, and then they don’t give you what you originally pay for.
Decided to return this week and got half a chicken meal, and 2- chicken meals with sides. Got home and we started to eat the chicken and one of the quarter chicken, and the half chicken were raw on the inside. And again, of course they shorted me on the green sauce again. They did, however, give me an extra salad, which I didn’t ask for. Obviously, no quality control at this location. I understand that things happen, and chicken being undercooked, it’s gonna happen once in a while., But the lack of attention to giving people what they pay for just becomes annoying. I’ll give him one more shot for a final review to see what happens on the third try....
Read moreI have to agree with some of the comments...i support this place I always eat here because of the nice chicken and it's close to my job but after today I will no longer....there are plenty of other Peruvian style chicken places (pollo loco cocorico). I walk in today (sunday) I see the owner as I always do and some people sitting down eating I'm on the phone with my mom trying to get the order correct....once I'm ready to order the owner gives me a look as well as the cook and I'm like "are you guys closed?" They knod and i walk out....ive worked In customer service for years and a better way to handle a matter like this especially for a loyal customer who promotes your business is to apologize and offer them to come back tomorrow and maybe a coupon or free item this would have turned this now final visit of mine into an ok I understand but i left feeling upset dissapointed and hungry so I warn you if you go here make sure to enjoy your food because that's the only courtesy you'll get...

Every time I've dined here, a staff member has patiently and enthusiastically taken the time to explain the various items on the menu and how they're prepared. Tonight, the owner noticed that I wasn't eating the tomatoes that came with my meal and apologized for not knowing I don't like them (entirely my fault, as I'd never told him this), and even though I didn't consider it a problem, he asked me how he could make it right and even offered to cook me a new meal from scratch! This type of family-owned, customer-centric business is rare and precious in today's fast-food economy -- it's like taking a trip back in time, to when restaurant owners cared about fostering loyalty and not just grabbing all the money they could.
