One cannot really talk about Toby's coffee bar without talking about Toby's grain and feed house, connected to Toby's store, near Toby Street, where it's all about toby. The area in and around this store has an incredible hippie charm from a bygone era of the '60s and 70s, as evidenced by not only the absolutely festively dressed residents sitting at the cafe tables outside, but also the fact that The granary, also excels in being a multi-use space. One room is a green meditation room, another room is an art gallery, another turn, and another room is used for something else. However, we came to try the coffee, and so we did. We tested a cappuccino, (and man, are we hard on people who make bad cappuccinos), and it was a really well done a fair, with a little bit of cappuccino art in the foam, served by a couple of really nice young ladies, who told me a little bit of the history of the place, and where are my adventure buddy ordered a lemon bar, since the one we got across the street at the bovine bakery did not work for her. Using coffee from Linea coffee company in San Francisco, and with baked goods from Stellina Pronto, well-known Italian bakery out of Petaluma, our visit to the coffee bar was very satisfying. But there's more. A nice passing lady allowed me to pet her dog which was a service dog. Striking up a conversation with said nice lady I discovered that she was the legendary Maddy, former wife of a grateful Dead poster artist who passed away, I had heard that this lady sold some of the best jams and jellies on the street in point Reyes since she could no longer afford a store. She obviously did not know that I knew who she was or that I had heard of her before and I did not let on. Instead I asked her if she knew where I could get some good jam and she said "yeah", I have some right here! So I bought a jar of it on the spot come and make sure to get her card if you want to know more about Maddy's Jams, just look at the card in the photograph.

All in all, Toby's is a wonderful place, filled with wonderful attractions and features, populated with colorful hippies to give Berkeley a run for its money on any day. This is definitely...

Cash only. I find this is the best coffee in West Marin. Also CBD latte excellent. Delightful pastries and service. Sensitive hearing; so at noon be prepared to hear the loud cow farm animal alarm for lunch. And sometimes the lift for the hay is beeping inside the barn next to where the service is. There is a small side shed shelter, comfy setting that's quite pleasant. A Buddha space next to the seed sales. Usually fantastic art exhibits inside of...

Toby's Feed Barn is a tourist destination in Point Reyes Station. In addition to a coffee bar it has an art gallery, a variety of snacks, greeting cards, casual clothing, an outside seating area and a farmer's market on Saturdays during the summer.

The atmosphere is quite friendly. It has had an interesting evolution from when it used to be an actual feed barn just for the...

Cute little coffee stand that's inside of a large barn like structure. Mocha wasn't anything special though and don't even bother getting a chai. Worst chai I have ever had. Couldn't finish it. Another bummer is that they only accept cash. Go across the street to Bovine Bakery. Much better quality and they accept credit cards.

Simple coffee bar set inside a feed barn/garage. Itโ€™s a bit difficult to find, but the outdoor seating made it obvious once we arrived. The little stall served espresso and coffee drinks. The staff is quick and polite and know how to make a good cup of coffee, but the beans werenโ€™t anything special.
