Flipside Burgers & Bar — Restaurant in Fairfield

So I must say I was extremely disappointed. A friend of mine and I decided to go to flip side burger & bar in Fairfield because we heard so many GREAT things. Unfortunately, the experience there was extremely uncomfortable. Coral was our waiter and we had chose to sit at the bar we ordered our drinks & as we are chatting and catching up the young ladies each had come up to us about 5x’s to ask if we were going to order food at that point we did let them know respectfully we were just going to enjoy our drinks and when we are ready we will order food. Let’s keep in mind 1. We were sitting at the bar & 2. We were secluded from everyone around us so as we are catching up coral was on the side and makes a comment “CAN YOU PLEASE STOP CURSING” again we are sitting at the bar away from everyone else whether we were cursing or not I am shocked that she had the nerve to make such a comment instead of approaching us privately like the adults we are & I’m completely shocked that she was listening so deep into our conversation to even know what we were talking about. Respectfully I asked for the bill and I paid as well as left a tip and to be completely honest although I was hesitant on giving coral a tip I left it not due to great service but because I want you to know that regardless we are paying customers and to make us feel uncomfortable and disrespected was completely...

Went there yesterday for a nice early dinner with my husband. Food was good, service was okay. Although I asked for white toast and got a regular bun. The fries were like potato sticks and overcooked. The burgers while good were not medium rare but well done.. We feel the music was absolutely terrible. First of all, if I'm in a restaurant and they have music playing I should not have to listen to loud ads, we get enough of that at home and on our radios etc. The music was clearly geared to young rap pop tastes. I dont expect them to gear it to an older crowd but still how about a mix of genres, and lower volumn so you can talk to each other?! Also, the staff was so Loud and there was Only a few tables filled, we thought it was rude and obnoxious, something a manager should be able to curb. I heard a guy at the bar who was swearing and using the f word over and over very loudly. This shouldn't be allowed. I don't understand why the staff was standing around all laughing and yelling to each other and carrying on, we could hardly talk to each other it was so noisy. It was my first time eating here. My godsis recommended it.

The service was good. Had no complaints.

The food was mid.

I am a crab Rangoon lover. I try it everywhere I go as long as it is on the menu. We asked the server would he recommend it but he has never tried it. He did inform us that the owner did use to work in an Asian fusion restaurant so we decided to try it. I personally wouldn’t recommend it. The cream cheese was way too sharp and overpowering. Felt like I was eating a cheez-it cracker.

I ordered a basic bacon cheese burger. Now, the patty was definitely a frozen patty. I would have to see with my own eyes that it wasn’t. Absolutely no flavor on the burger. Not even a pinch of salt. Ketchup, honey mustard nor spicy mayo could save it.

I sat and watched 2 other people send back their meal while eating.

One customer complained that their burger was raw in the middle and the other customer straight up said he did not like his food.

I am not sure if the cooks were having an off night but I don’t think I would go back.
