Sushi sliver with tendon

we ordered sashimi for dinner and one of the pieces was made up of small slivers of fish attached to one another by tendons reminiscent of an accordion. We showed it to the owner, hoping she provide the chef with some feedback, but instead she asked us "is this not what you ordered"? We won't mention the fishy smelling octopus. Needless to say, we will not return. Too bad, we like to support our local restaurants. For those seeking quality sushi, your best bet...

We went on a weekday, though they were busy the staff were very nice and the food came really fast. The quality of food was very good and it didn't feel greasy, it tasted fresh! My husband loves the wonton soup.The chicken/shrimp fried rice and the curry salmon dish were also super delicious. If you are vegetarian you must try the veggie lovers role which I had. Their sushi was not fresh and not properly served. I pulled out a couple of strands of tendon per each piece of sushi and it was just barely on the scale of passable.

Maybe I will have a better experience another time or maybe not. But a restaurant serving fish should not have bad days like that at all. I certainly won't make a second visit there based...
