As a regular customer I went this past Sunday, heavy rain, no snow. They were to open at 10, didn't until 12. ALL other stores in area were open! Asked SAVANNAH why, rudely replied, w NO apology at all opening 2 hours late, no note on door, "I live far away, my safety comes first". Told her I was counting on getting an engagement gift I needed for that day, all other stores open, her reply "too bad". Was nothing but RUDE, I commented this is not a way to act toward a customer. Was there to return a gift as well, now no time for needed purchase, further interaction with her was nasty, zero attempt to create any customer service. All about her, nothing but scowl on her face. No concern for customer. Went to take a picture of her to file official complaint to executive office which I have (didn't trust her name was as she provided) literally screamed "get out of my store". UNBELIEVABLE!!! Further proof of her incompetence! She needs to be fired. Love the products but will not ever return if she remains as "manager" which she led me to believe she is. Read moreThis was my second visit to this store. The first, last month, I shopped around the store and felt uncomfortably watched the whole time. Nobody greeted me when I entered the store, I was only greeted by and spoke with one employee halfway through my visit. This unfortunately was the same experience I had for my visit this week. This is the only location I’ve experienced this. On top of being watched by multiple employees like I was stealing, at checkout I had a coupon that specifically read “Save $3 when you purchase 3Hallmark cards $1.99 and above HOH 2023”. I picked out five cards and only one card cost less than $1.99. The associate at the counter would only take off $0.99 because that was my cheapest card. I tried disputing it and showed her exactly what the coupon stated, and even after acknowledging it, she would only take off the $.99 and not the $3 I was meant. Its not the price that bothers me, it’s the point that you should listen to the customer. I’ve worked for hallmark so I can say firsthand I know how stores like these should treat their customers. Read moreTried to return two unused ornaments, knowing that this would normally still be in the return period, and they refused to accept them with the receipt, saying that they can't be returned after Christmas. I have done so in this store before. According to the website that is indeed the policy which I looked up after I was turned away, however the receipt says to see the back of it for the return policy, and it is blank. It also was not prominently displayed with the ornament section last month. There is a totally lack of transparency in the process, now leaving me out the cost of my returns. That'll be the last time I come here, I'll just order from Hallmark's website...
