Ordered my families food from the drive-thru and when we pulled up to the window we could hear the person making the food upset about something. After a couple minutes one of the workers came to the window and asked us to pull forward because they ran out of vegetarian chili and had to make more (explains the upset worker we heard). After waiting a few minutes they came out with our food and asked if we wanted crackers or hot sauce. I said no because I didn't want to wait longer for them to run back in and out to get it (why not throw a couple in the bag or ask those things ahead of time). Final disappoint was arriving home and my order was wrong. I asked for 3 cheese coneys, no mustard, heavy onion, and Sriracha seasoning. I received no Sriracha seasoning and instead I got Sriracha sauce.
After 9 months my girlfriend and I decided to give this goldstar another chance. Bad choice on my part. The entire staff is a bunch of young adults being loud, yelling profanity, flirting with each other, holding hands, and playful bumping into each other, one guy was half asleep in a booth on the other side of the restaurant, several people had airpods in an ear, playing on thier cell phones, not washing their hands, no one was wearing a mask, and our waitress had no manners what so ever. It looks nice, but it's turning into a ghetto place to eat out with the family. Probably why no one else was there while we ate. I have went to this restaurant since I was a young boy and it was always run efficiently with the previous owner there over seeing the place. Read moreMe and my children became sick after eating the chilly cheese fries, and then we couldn't even eat the coneys because they was extra soggy and I live only 5 min away. I ate 2 of the coneys out of 10 coneys before leaving the parking lot, and the bread was already soggy and watery, and I should have returned the whole order at that very moment but I didn't because I didn't want to be late for work. I paid $45. I was in a hurry to get to work as a night shifter and so the surprise by getting Gold Star coneys was a very bad idea because we became sick later that day. My son ended up sick later that day, and became sick the next morning. I had to get to a hospital and they had to insert a IV in my arm because I couldn't hold anything down at work as a driver, and I wish l would have returned the food when my instincts said to do so! And The smell was very off and different, and I just don't understand why the prices is so expensively high nowadays for that kind of experience and smell. Waist of my money and time and I wish I can undo turning in that Gold Star parking lot! and I apologize to my children for not returning the food! Read moreHorrible service today, the tatooo arm lady took order, WROTE IT ON HER PAD, my sons order COMPLETELY WRONG, & they didnt even bring mine, as i sat there with no food she said "did you need anything else" I told her his is totally wrong & where is mine. Place was basically empty 2 other families here, at noon (lunchtime) on Sunday, now I know why noone goes here. Then at the register a different employee said ,"was everything ok" i laughed, she said it was a mistake & she was sorry she said something about customer service then added "no need to be rude", i said "arguing with a customer is customer service???", she pretended not to hear me so repeated myself, then she mumbled something & smiled. Total complete NEGATIVE experience, of 2 food items ordered & written on a pad by a tatoo sleeved server one arrived completely incorrect & the 2nd never arrived at all.
