Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Fairhaven

This is a hit or miss location, it pretty much depends on who makes your order. I decided to give this location a try because of a promo coupon I received in the mail. The first time was a breeze, from ordering in the app, to picking up, and the sandwiches were great. There was a nice amount of napkins in the bag as well. The second time, not that great. When I walked in to pick up my order, there were three employees chitchatting in the back. My bag was the only one in the pickup area, so I reached for it, because I didn't want to bother them, and one of the guys yelled: "Hey! Is that yours?" in a tone that implied I was trying to steal it. I said, yeah, and my name, and he just grumbled: "okay". This time the sandwiches were very skimpy and sloppy. The onions were stringy, from the outer layers. You can see it in the pictures. Not a single napkin in the bag. Both times I tipped on the app, before getting my order, the same amount. Both orders were the exact same, two of the exact same, simple sandwiches off the main menu. I won't be back any time soon, because there's no consistency in the service. Honestly, I expect much better for a $20 sandwich. To the owner: Thanks for your prompt reply, and your kind offer to comp me a sandwich, however, what I'm looking for is service that...

I am a regular customer at this location and every time me and my boyfriend come here they give excellent service and we’re those customers that always get our usuals and the workers know ahead of time what we want. This particular time we went early at 12 in afternoon which we shouldn’t have done because we was told they can’t give us the extra meat we wanted on our hot subs and that they’re only able to give a certain amount for extra….how can you put a limit on what customer wants if they paying for it?? We even asked if they could cut the sandwiches for us and they said they don’t cut the hot subs. Even if you don’t cut them if I ask you don’t say that you don’t cut the hot subs. I should be able to get my food the way I want if I am paying for it. That to me is very crazy cause the usual workers at this location are always willing to give us what we ask for and this time it was all different. Never again will we come this early in day because I never heard of a customer wanting their food a certain way and being told they can’t have it the way they want smh. Very very disappointed and again I come to this location every week...

I went in to order a couple sandwiches for our day on the boat. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact they were open early. But the most impressive thing about this location, was , Jose. He was courteous and very enthusiastic about his position and the quality of the food he was preparing. Since I was the only one there, I had a chance to talk with Jose while he was preparing our sandwiches. He was so well groomed and so happy to be working there. Jose is an extraordinary person and employee. The owner of this location is extremely fortunate to have Jose there. It was the best service and a damn good sandwich. Give this young man a raise and a key to the building. Just absolutely terrific I would give...
