While my step dad was having surgery in the hospital my mom, sister and I decided to go here for lunch. Upon walking in there was a table on the left at the door.. The seat had food on it so I ask the waitress if that table was available if she'd mind cleaning it. She got mad and said it was clean. I pointed out the food on the seat in which she brushed 1 end near her off and through the dry cloth to my sister and told her to wipe it off. My sister did and said nothing. We ask for a menu and she said you can do this app, pointing at thing for your smart phone. I told her we dont have a smart phone. She got even madder and told another employee and they handed her a menu which she threw on the table. . We ordered and my sister ordered hashbrowns but ask if they would cook them crispy . She brought my sisters to the table before ours and you could tell right away they weren't crispy . My sister told her she ordered them crispy and before she could even get finished telling the waitress, she the waitress snatched it from my sisters hand and almost spilled it in her lap. We were stunned at the waitress behavior. So I called her back to our table and ask her why she did that and she could give us our ticket for our drinks in which we never drank. We can go elsewhere. She started off and said we didn't owe anything but my mom was gonna pay anyway. But since we never drank anything, I told my mom no and we just left. We will never go back here again. I dont know what her problem was, but she shouldn't work with people. But we did say a prayer for her just in case she was going...
Read moreI made it to the door to go inside at the same time as one of the workers who was coming back from a smoke break and she said, "Let me get that door for you ma'am", that was the only positive experience I got when I was there. The second door some man opened it and I said thank you.....he said nothing but when the nice woman who opened the door for me came behind me and said thank you, he said you're welcome ma'am. I know Fairhope is racist but Waffle House in Fairhope has it bad and reminded me in the first place why I stopped going and giving them my money smdh. I sat down and the lady who took care of me had an attitude as if she didn't want to be there. There was no greeting just a is it for here or to go with a blank stare. The cooks touch on everything including themselves and they don't have to wear gloves while handling your food but that's not just Waffle House these days. The food was cooked quickly which was nice but the taste was just ok but my overall experience was not good. There was more that happened during my visit but it's just too much to add. Overall I will NEVER go back to Waffle House to spend money again and if any of my family or friends come to visit I will make sure they don't either because why would I allow them to visit me and take them to a place where the service is not good. Fairhope has a lot of growing to do......I have visited just about every waffle house in Baldwin County and even a few in Mobile and the service...
Read moreI always leave satisfied. Came with a family member. Was welcomed by staff immediately. It was a bit busy, but we must have arrive at the luckiest times, because within 5 min, multiple tables emptied. However, it took over 10 min to sit down, because only 1 person was able to clean and she was also serving multiple tables. We ordered eggs, raisin toast, bacon, waffle, texas breakfast sandwich, tomato juice and 1/2 & 1/2 tea (still too sweet - oh well) Butter is their favorite ingredient LOL! Our meals were made just right and very satisfying. Their batter is very different for the waffles. I love it, I love all waffles, but their batter has a different flavor to it! They actually had a can of tomato juice for my dad, so he got to enjoy his breakfast to the full extent. It was a bit noisy, a little annoying that a lady sat, by herself, in the middle of a three-chair lower-counter that's on the other end of the restaurant, which left an empty seat on both sides of her. So couples and other people had to wait for other boothes to open or the high top counter seating to be vacated. Other than that it was a...
