Bad customer service on the part of an employee named Millie. Ordered two plates through the drive through, waited 10 minutes in parking lot for them. Got home and one order was missing the side that was ordered and both entrees were just thrown into the carry out container and mixed all together. Not enough of the entrees for a whole meal. Drove back to the restaurant. Both orders are cold by now. Went through drive through, explained the missing side.
Was asked if I just wanted the side or my order remade. I asked if it could be remade. Was then told the item that I just ordered was not available and it would be another 10 minute wait. I said I was over it, didn't want to wait any longer and would just like a refund. This employee (Joe) was nice and said sorry. Then Millie jumps in and says we don't give refunds, I can give you a phone number to call. I say I do not want to call a number to get a refund, and I will just take the side that I ordered.
I get to the drive through window, and Millie just hands me a bag with the side and says nothing. Doesn't say sorry, sorry for the inconvenience, sorry you had to drive back, sorry about the cold food, etc. I then show her my take out and how it is all thrown together, and I say that this whole experience was not good especially for how expensive it all was. She just stares at me and says OK. I then say is that all you have to say, and she says ya. I tell her that her customer service is lacking and ask for her name. She points at her name tag and walks away.
A simple acknowledgment of the inconvenience that we were caused would have been sufficient. A simple sorry would have been so easy for her to say. Or if they couldn't do cash refunds in the store, offer a $10 gift card. That is what the meal cost. The worst part about it, was that she was acting as if we were the problem. Read moreSo this place is new, I get it. On my first visit, the rice was hard and I do not believe it was from undercooking. Pieces of the orange chicken were so over cooked I could not tell if it was actually chicken or just all breading. I had to choose the orange chicken because they were out of all other chicken entrees. I waited long enough to get to the order point and didn't feel like waiting longer. The egg rolls were saturated in fat and cooked dark brown, not golden brown. The rangoons were also dark but I purchased them anyways. Not sure what the clear noodle was in the egg roll but I was personally put off by it. Like a glycerine noodle or something. I'm sure there is a place for it in this cuisine but not something I've come across in an ego roll. Second visit was pretty much a repeat of the first. Instead of rice I landed on chow mein. We ordered 2 plates this time and had to wait for something to be sauced as my order sits at the drive thru window getting cold. We wait 10 minutes before we receive our food for them to say that they gave one order extra scoop for the wait but neglected to bring attention to the cold food sitting by the window on a cold rainy day. This has never been my experience since my last 2 times ordering from this location. The first time we we had an issue we also had to wait we were pulled around the building and I understand they needed time for an item we wanted we were told 5 minutes and we agreed to the 5 minutes and continued to wait for 10 minutes. I went inside to see the item in-stock and was told I was just getting to it while the pan was almost gone meaning other orders were fulfilled prior to ours as most fastfood dosent make to order.
