El Toro Birrieria — Restaurant in Fairview

It was my first time at the Fairview food carts and wanted to get some good mexican food. El Torro Birrieria stood out. It reminded me of Birrieria PDX on 162nd, so It sounded good! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Boy, you will not be disappointed! I ordered the quesatacos with beef consommé. The tacos had a perfect explosion of flavor. The corn tortillas had a awesome bite to them, not too greasy which was perfect. The meat was super tender and juicy in every bite. The cheese was perfectly melted. The consommé was excellent! The broth along with the tender meat and the perfect amount of seasoning(especially the cilantro) was out of this world! Dipping the tacos into the consommé was a match made in heaven! This was my first experience with this amazing place. I told them I'd never had this style had this style of tacos, and they gave me a free loaded up taco for free to give it a try and all they wanted, was for me to like it. I did lol And they won a regular for sure! The consome is amazing, and they give you a really generous portion of it! The tacos are fresh, and absolutely everything you'd hope to find in a street taco! Everything we got, was good. And the price is very reasonable for how much you're getting! Seriously, if you're in the area and are on the prowl for a good, hearty meal, look no farther! Grab a couple tacos and a sangria, and you won't regret it! I'm a local and will for sure be...

To die for!! The owners of this food truck are our old neighbors. Very wonderful family orientated people. My husband picked up lunch one day for us & we are hooked. I had never had birria before & there is no going back now. You can tell they put a lot of time & care into their food. It is so incredibly rich & flavorful. If you like/love birria, this is it (I have since had birria at a few other places since only because I was craving theirs but it was on days they were closed & although good, not even close to El Torros) And if you've never tried it before..
