I have many food sensitivities, including eggs, wheat and dairy, so what I am able to eat, I am always hopeful is delicious. That said, I would eat at PDX Kababs every day if I could, with or without sensitivities. I love food from the Middle Eastern regions of the world, and the owner of PDX Kabobs puts skill and pride in his offerings, making them as good as the best I have ever had. Juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, fabulous fresh crispy salad, freshly made sauces and dressings. So yummy; my mouth is watering just thinking of it. I would not in the least be put off by the truck or casual dining; I would rather eat fabulous fresh food in a casual setting than go to a restaurant for mediocre expensive food and lousy service any day. I order the #4 plate after the kind man offered a sample of one of the daily special butter chicken. Freaking delicious. Decent flavor with a bit of heat the right way, not just spicy too be spicy. The chicken from the #4 was so tender and had excellent flavor. Yes the salad was on the bottom below the rice and 2 kinds of meat. It was freshly made. The kind man also gave me 2 small containers of extras I didnt order. One of the butter chicken I tried earlier and a soup he made. The way he kept feeding me and refused my tip made me feel like I was a long time friend or chosen family. Everything I ate was delicious and made with love. The guy working the cart snagged me by offering a free sample of the chicken & red bean curry while I was standing around looking lost at all the different food cart options. The chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection in a warm, earthy, and delicious curry sauce. It was served on a bed of wonderfully fragrant long grained rice, and It came with a nice salad that complimented everything very nicely. It would have been phenomenal in a wrap and I'm sad I didn't think to order some flatbread (gonna have to come back to this one now lol).
