Don’t ever expect to call an order and it ever to be ready on time. In fact, don’t even expect it to be ready five minutes after the time they told you try like maybe an hour if you’re lucky so don’t ever go there early thinking that your order will be ready at the time. They said it would be or five minutes after when I’m trying to say is is it They expect you to wait for them after you’ve called it in an hour after you’ve called it in and then give you an attitude because you’re getting frustrated waiting around a bunch of people that drink which I understand I get it it’s a bar hence that’s why you call in the order so you don’t have to be around that atmosphere because they do have good food , so why would you wanna wait around in a bar for an hour for your food when you call in the order that’s why you call in the order to go not so you have to wait around for an hour for it to be done when you arrive hoping to pick up the order to go that’s why you call it in right no these people don’t get that there and they’re rude Beware would not waste your money going to Alex bar and Grill in Fairview Oregon and on top of that I paid for my food and I still left without it so they got $22 and I didn’t even get what I paid for. 5/3/2025. New Google rating is now Don't bother! I was in during Saturday Karaoke to buy to go food because the Singer were so bad. Gyro with NO ONIONS/ extra cucumber sauce on the side and their Bowl of Chowder and Vodka 7up while I waited. Had to leave my bar rail chair to get service, got weak vodka Soda, a small/ cup instead of bowl of chowder, and the Gyro was loaded with onions, shy on meat, no extra sauce. I cancelled my order, choked down the bad drink and the 2 waitress/ bartenders bitched at me how busy they were. REALLY! AND YOU ignore me sitting patiently to be served at the rail. Those two ladies are in the wrong occupation. Alex's owner should watch the video feed and see how much money it's loosing. I watched many people lining up for drinks that had to wait. Oh and they ran out of ICE! I saw some food going to tables but not so much that a decent cook can handle. I'm finding that if you order TO GO often places don't give you what you order. I'm not supporting this is owners pocket anymore. I know many places I can get a great gryo made the way I ask for it.

Alek's is an absolute gem of a restaurant that I stumbled upon recently, and I cannot recommend it enough. The star of the show here are the smoked wings, which are out of this world delicious and truly unlike anything else I've ever tasted. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the meat just falls off the bone. If you're a fan of wings, you simply must try Alek's smoked wings!

But it's not just the food that makes Alek's a standout establishment. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really helps to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel right at home here.
