This is a good one. There was a very sweet young African American lady that waited on me last time. And totally nailed my crazy order. It was seriously one of the best coffees I've ever had at a Dunkin Donuts. And I worked next door to one for almost 5 years, became friends with all the girls, and even dated some of them. So believe me that's really saying something. In fact I've been meaning to go here to get another one. Hopefully she'll be working. Because she is like the coffee mistress, or something. It was screaming hot too. I drove to the Wendy's on Charles St in Providence to meet someone I bought something from, then drove to Thayer St, and ate. I got back in my car to drive home, and the f darn thing was still hot. That's like an hour! It was a steamy night though.
And speaking of driving to Providence. That's probably the single best thing about this location. It's directly across the road from the entrance to 195. So if you're taking a drive somewhere. This should be your last stop before you do, if you're like me, and love to grab a large coffee for the drive. Remember the vibrations of your vehicle make you sleepy. And combat that with some delicious caffeine filled coffee. And they're open fairly late too. I tried to find a coffee on the way, but nothing was open. So I went out of my way to go here. Going they were open, and they were. Thank God. Highly recommended Dunkin here folks. And if you see a cute young African American lady. Ask her to make your coffee. You'll be...
Read moreHands down the best Dunkin Donuts in the city! The long lines says it all. It is because they make coffee excellent. I know some may think, "well how difficult is it to make a coffee?" The reality is it could be very simple to make a coffee but what makes their coffee taste great is their process, their cleanliness, and the consistency. Being a former Manager years back for Dunkin cleaning the machines and calibrations is extremely important for many different products they offer. Not only that, the team knows how to work fast and effectively together to get you in and out as soon as possible.
Another thing I want to point out is some of the poor reviews you may see of people complaining about employees being rude. My experience has always been great! I can guaranteed you that these people complaining are the ones who are the ones in fact being rude and disrespectful not being patient and thinking its a gourmet restaurant, have it your way style when they don't realize these employees are following standards and policies. I will also point out that if you want respect from people you need to learn how to give respect. It's simple to be kind and ask them to remake a coffee without breaking your neck and going all ghetto on someone. You get what you put out into the Universe. I will add they have an awesome boss who is also the owner who is always there helping them out which is very rear!
GREAT JOB MILLIKEN DUNKIN! YOU ARE...
Read moreAlthough today's experience wasn't as good as usual for this location, this is normally a great Dunkin Donuts to stop by. They are usually fast and experienced, especially during early morning hours, but I visited during the late morning this time, which perhaps was after a shift change. It wasn't busy when I arrived but became busy shortly after I put in my order; typical of these types of take out fast food/coffee shop restaurants.
I don't want, to sound like an old crab, but today àn old cliche occurred; there was an older woman working her butt off by herself, whilè at least four younger employees were in the back chatting, texting, and basically not doing their job. The older lady, whom I presume to be the manager, or at least should be for her efforts, seamed frustrated and called the girls out and they quickly came to attendance at their positions. My coffee was great and the sandwich was decent so I really can't complain. This was a typical experience for a Dunkin...
Overall, it was an average experience one would expect from a Dunkin Donuts restaurant. Would have been rated 5 stars if I was impressed... I would stop by again as I have many times and would also recommend to my friends.
Hey, if you want a quick sandwich, donut, and coffee, then stop on by. It is also literally (Literally!) across from the 195 E/W Highway ramps to get on and off the highway. You...
