Horrible experience yet again however, this time I’m posting a review. We moved here about 2 years ago due to military and I was referred here for the lumpia. I looked on the menu and it had pork, beef, and chicken. The first time I ordered beef and she did not have any . I said ok I’ll just do pork and try another time. Every time I order beef lumpia she never has it only pork and the wait time she gives is about 20 min for those and I show up on time and still have to wait 15 extra minutes. But anyways this recent experience was by far the worst and took me over the top. I ordered catfish and she said 45 min wait time ( which is already long ) but that’s fine I don’t expect fish to be done in 5 minutes. We get there about 15 min too soon and she said it’s not ready yet and that’s fine because we were early. So we left and came back 20min later. My husband went in I sat and waited in the car. 20 minutes had passed and he had not come out so I called and asked her was the food ready. She proceeds to tell me she had a large order and they're first come first serve business and if I want fast service to go to McDonald’s. If you had a large order placed before mine why was I not informed when I placed my order and you said 45min. That was a lie. She told my husband that this person is a regular customer and basically the truth is she put that customer before my order. I will never order from here again as the food is not even...

Read moreLet me preface this by saying we have lived in SE Asia for years. My best friend and his wife are from Manila and Quezon. We travel extensively and enjoy eating all types of cuisine in the US and internationally (I go to Asia almost every year and do not eat in touristy places, for what that's worth).
We recently ordered a big takeout dinner from Annalee's. I'll cut to the chase: the lumpia was barely edible. I know taste is subjective, but my wife described it as "horrible". I don't expect this to be like the food we get back home, but even by landlocked US standards it was bad. I want to go back and order the same items just to see if we had an outlier in terms of quality. Doubtful.
The soup was decent. In my opinion the quality was the equivalent of a really good grocery store chili (obviously not taste since it's not a 1:1 comparison). I have not been this disappointed in a meal in a very long time. We threw about half of our $46 dinner. This is not a "hit" or fake review by a competitor. My passion is travel and food. At least the service was friendly. Always a...
