Ok, this is the second time that I’ve gone through the drive through for an ice cream cone and been horribly disappointed. I don’t ask for a whole lot from life but I do have my comfort foods.
Some chirpy little teenager tried to school me on what a DQ cone should look like by saying it “had one, two, or three balls of ice cream.” I used to make the same cones and I told her it was about half the size it should be. A “ball” is not a measurement of mass.
The teenager said she was sorry, insincerely, while the other employees glared, and made no effort to make me another. It took me forever to get the rest of my order, while half the staff was standing around doing nothing.
What I’ve gotten the last two times I went through didn’t even cover the cone part, and wasn’t worth the money I spent on it. Too bad because the cones and service were excellent a couple months ago.
You’ve lost my business forever, and I see all the owner says is “I’m sorry, please come back through and give us another chance,” with no improvement. Guess I’ll be alerting corporate to the sharp dive your quality and service has taken in a few...
Read moreI've been there through the drive thru several times. And when I went over to the fair grounds here in fallon to get my 1st covid vaccination shot, I decided to take my 3 year old grandson there to get an ice cream cone for being really good. So I got 2 small cones and asked for a baby cone . It was the perfect size for my grandson. So a month later, went to get 2nd shot, and took my grandson over to get a ice cream cone, same order as last time, except when she went to hand me the baby cone, I refused it. And I told her the last time I got a baby cone, it was bigger I then was told that the 1st cone I got was a child's cone. I said I didn't know that and I said I want that one. . Needless to day, they need to get on the same page, and put some pictures up of the different size cones they have. Not only that, but they need to learn how to correctly put the ice cream on the cone. The ice cream should be to to the edge of the cone and then as tall as the size requires. I do not like paying their prices for their cones, and only getting half 9f the...
Read morePoor customer service. Not a friendly place to out of town travelers. Preference was clearly given to locals. We stopped mid-afternoon for a quick to-go snack while traveling to Oregon. We waited inside for our order. It took a while, but we waited patiently, thinking it would at least be freshly cooked. After 10 minutes and other customers behind us getting their food, we inquired at the cash register while they were chatting with friends. One of the service staff walked up to us from the dining room with our bag opened. We found that condiments weren't included and returned the cold french fries, asking for a fresh hot bag. Had to wait while several other orders containing fries were given to local customers. Took almost 20 frustrating minutes to get what should have been a 5-minute stop. The staff offer nothing to compensate for their mishandling of our order, not...
