McDonald's — Restaurant in Falmouth

I love the double quarter pounder deluxe. My favorite. Granted, I am a very healthy eater. Fast food is not my staple of choice, but I do ❤️ love ❤️ McDonalds. I consider most of my visits to McDonalds as a "gourmet meal" that I allot myself and enjoy once a month. Nobody makes it like McDonalds. It's a monthly treat to myself for having taken such good care of myself as a daily personal ritual. Mind you that once a month is not set in stone. Time restraints, convenience, and McDonald's very affordable high-quality iced coffees will lure me in at the most unexpected times with no regrets. McDonalds also employs many workers of all ages and from all walks of life that may not othewise get an opportunity to prove themselves as reliably employable. Often, so many of these same people would otherwise and most certainly would become a burden upon all of us as taxpayers. So what I have say to McDonalds is, "thank you, thank you McDonalds", for all you've done over the years and decades here in America and for all that you still do all around the world. I wanted to share my experience with Nicole, the manager. Honestly, she could use some improvement in customer service and communication. While we were trying to place our order, she kept having side conversations, which was distracting. When it was finally my mom's turn to order, she was having trouble speaking loudly because she wasn’t feeling well. I tried to help by speaking a bit louder from the passenger seat, but Nicole rudely told us we didn’t need to yell. I explained that I wasn’t yelling, just trying to make sure she could hear us.

Then, out of nowhere, she told us we could leave. I asked where her manager was, and she said she was the manager. I also asked her name, but she wouldn’t tell us until we got to the window. I find the service lacking. At a recent visit I placed my order for a salad, small fry and kids meal at the drive-thru and was told at the window that there was going to be a wait for the food. So I pulled ahead into the designated spot. When they brought out the food it was missing the small french fry. I double checked my receipt to make sure I had ordered it and paid for it and I mentioned this to them and was told I should simply go through the drive-thru again to get my fries. Given how long of an additional wait that would be I asked if they would run the fries back out to me at the spot where I was. They said "okay" and then brought out food for the car next to me and at that point told me again "it would be faster if I just went through the drive-thru again".
