Forced customer. The Falmouth Starbucks is the only Starbucks on my new commute to work and it has only gone downhill since I have been going here. Mobile order is meant to be convenient for those on the go. I have always made sure to order at least 10 minutes before arrival but only at this Starbucks. I always have to wait at least 5 minutes once inside and sometimes even have to ask that status of my coffee. There’s always an answer of “the printer must be down” or the occasional eye roll. I think the most frustrating thing is standing there patiently waiting and having no one recognize that you exist. It would make a ton of difference if they just asked if i was all set or what I was waiting on. Also my coffee is always inconsistent. I order a simple iced coffee with white chocolate mochas flavoring, that’s it, nothing fancy yet it always tastes off and I end up having to adjust the taste myself. If there were any other Starbucks on my commute to work I would have stopped going...
Read moreI am from Tallahassee, Florida and we have a wonderful, inviting Starbucks. My Tallahassee SB's has nice tables and chairs, some booths, and, my favorite, wing chairs with ottomans. It is always busy with people gaming with friends or using their computers. The Falmouth Starbucks is a plain and uninviting physical space and I have never seen more than one table occupied. The latte was 3*, as was the service. It appears that most people use the drive thru. It's too bad. Falmouth, Rt.1, could use a place where people could hang out. Sales would go up because most people start with a drink but later get another...
Read moreI wish it weren’t so, because this is my local Starbucks, but this is genuinely the least reliable fast-casual restaurant of any type I’ve ever seen.
Every week it’s some new policy, some new (essential to the coffee experience) product that isn’t available, all without warning, as people try and fail to structure a morning routine that allows them to get their coffee and be to work on time. It is truly maddening that a coffee shop can continually under-supply themselves with things like milk, sugar, and more again and again and again. This is the manager’s job. Do it correctly!
It would be better for Starbucks to close this location than have it blighting their reputation day after day, week after week,...
