"The Biz" is how the regulars, or rather most of us refer to it. I absolutely love this place. At night late sometimes it could have a feel for being a rough place, but the reality is that it's rather calm. The Biz sports the best pool table and "regulars" crowd who play around the city. If your looking for a random game and you dig the competition, on a Valley table, there is almost always a game going here. Put your quarter up and show off your skill. Winners keep the table. Rules are flexible. There's also black jack, pull tabs and e-tabs. Meat raffles every Wednesday evening, which can be a lot of fun, and some really awesome dealers work there in rotation. Win free drinks, handed out during happy hour, The Biz is very fortunate to employ some of the coolest bartenders in town, I mean that absolutely and seriously! Special mention: Abby, she's bomb digs! I warn, don't dare cross her! She knows how to handle a crowd. I shouldn't have to mention: don't tip, (lame brain, you should drink at home then...) -not going to get the speedy service you think you want. This is a bartender's career... Show some respect. Tip your bartender. The Biz is not a scary and tough crowd kind of place like I've heard, it's really not. It's a safe enjoyable atmosphere here to lighten your day and evening come nightfall. Get downtown, maybe I'll show you how to play pool. Start trouble, gets you thrown out on the double. Good vibes are...
Read moreThe Bismarck easily has some of the strongest drinks in town if not the strongest. It might be classified as a dive bar, but it can definitely get busy and even packed. It draws a variety of people; sometimes you might see just oddballs and other times you might see a trendier crowd. They have blackjack, pool, and pull-tabs. The staff does a good job staying on top of drinks. It's basically an all female staff except for...
Read moreThe oldest bar in Fargo, and that's the most interesting thing about the place. There's a cigarette machine, a pool table, a guy dealing cards, an ATM, gambling machine, and a notebook where people can write their names. It has an atmosphere pretty specifically made for a specific type of people. It's a stereotypical bar you'd see in old movies or like Moe's from...
