Happy Joe's Pizza - Fargo — Restaurant in Fargo

debated writing this for a while now, gave them a few different tries at different times and days, but they always miss the mark with wait time, or order accuracy. and the problem doesn't go away, sadly. i have a lot of food allergies and the first 2 times i never got sick and was very happy with the food, even though the wait time was extremely long always. third time i got very sick so was hesitant, but tried again.

told myself this time i'd never go back after they had to remake my gluten free chicken taco pizza since it was made as beef (i'm allergic). but i told myself it will be fine next time. i like the taco pizza better than the runner-up pizza i had in mind for dinner. but again, the website i used to order caused me to end up with a sauceless pizza. had to have them remake since sauceless dry pizza just wouldn't work sadly. time quoted was 10-30min after order placed. i arrived 4 minutes before the 30min mark and actually watched them make the sauceless pizzas. was told it would be 15mins to cook, but had to remake again because of the sauce thing.

i really hate the "mexican sauce" that comes on the taco pizza though, other people i have talked to about it do not remember that on the original taco pizza and its just unpleasant and too much bean flavor/paste. i always order no tomato, first pizza without sauce had no tomato. i even mentioned being allergic to tomatoes, and my 2nd pizza after an hour and 15min, had tomatoes. when i picked them off, i ended up with over 50 pieces zero exaggeration it felt like a tomato sabotage.. felt super uncomfortable like it was intentional because of the sheer amount of tomato vs other toppings. said ok ill just pick them off and quickly left. dont feel good of course.

watched them touch other pizzas while touching the gluten free. unfortunate and unsurprising, however other places do take a lot of care for allergies so one cannot write it off as "unavoidable cross contamination" as there was zero attempt to avoid. was also promised a credit on my 2nd to last order, went to order today, no credit. doesn't matter to me, truly zero care about if it happened or not as i never planned to order again (and 100% will not this time) but damn. for over $50 every time to get basically food poisoning, and the other pizza i get for my family is also always incorrect? just hurts. and man that bean sauce is just gross. one can tell that the blonde manager? girl does try really hard, but the mountain of issues is insurmountable for one...

I now understand why this place went out of business. I don't understand why it reopened. This is the worst pizza, not only in Fargo, but anywhere I've ever been. There were two types of crust in our order, dry as a bone and literally wet. The wet pizza was a Hawaiian, so my guess is they dumped the pineapple directly out of the can and onto the dough. The sausage pizza features those micro sausage pellets that looks like rabbit droppings, it tastes like it too. The Canadian bacon pizza was regular bacon, either than ran out of don't know the difference. The cheese sticks were also dry and somehow less flavorful than the pizza. Wings were acceptable, but you only get 5, so you should also pass on those too. I really understand why Joe is happy, he sells terrible pizza at ultra premium prices. This order cost nearly 120, it is now in the trash and we are going to go out for better pizza. At this rate, even Domino's would...

Ordered online. One seafood med pizza extra seafood extra black olives. One taco supreme med. They called to tell me they dont have seafood, I told them to make the med taco a large not med and add a bottle of taco sauce. The girl was very nice and said no problem. Then called back and due to the order online they could not make it a large ..I had to have 2 med. I said fine. Just do Canadian bacon black olive, and the bottle of taco sauce. I got there to pick it up and the girl at the counter said here you go...62.45...I looked at the Canadian bacon and no black olives...plus it's not extra like the seafood was...but they charged the same price. 23.00 for a med Canadian pizza...oh and no taco sauce,until we asked...then got attitude.
