I’m hoping our experience is just a fluke- the food was great and awesome prices and serving sizes-so I would maybe go back to give them another chance, but once we were seated it was like they forgot about us. We waited over a half hour for them to come to take our order and i had to flag someone down to get them to come to us. I had a really hungry toddler there too so i was worried she’d flip out soon because We hadn’t been given chips yet even...The worst part was the waitress saw us multiple times and she’d walk away before we could ask her for something every time she was near. When she took our beverage orders we wanted to order queso too and she was gone before we had even finished verifying the beverage order. then when she finally brought the queso she didn’t even bring a new basket of chips so we had to wait again - It was just a long, less enjoyable visit than we had hoped for. Grateful for the delicious food once we finally got it. So we got there at 12:30, seated at 12:40, ordered just after 1:15pm. If you do go, I highly recommend the enchiladas rancheros though.

Great food at a cheap price. Where else can you get an enchilada/rice/beans for $4.99! Specials change daily I think. I hope the Winnipegers avoid this joint so I don't have to wait any longer than usual. :) I usually visit Paradiso for my tex-mex fix but in the past few visits the food was overloaded with cheese. This place does not hide their food under cheese and it's just simple. They give you ample protein with your meal and the salsa is homemade and very good. I'm glad we drove away from West Acres to dine at this establishment. Our server was friendly and offered a suggestion that would save us money! It was a small gesture but appreciated. Cant wait to go back. Update: this restaurant is still awesome. Tamales were great. We visited in August 2018. What's even better is kids eat free on Sundays! (Pick from the kids menu). We were travelling and got there before opening and when 11am hit it was already starting to fill up.

If you’re in town in Fargo, this place is a must for lunch. Nothing can beat their lunch special. Steak fajitas, massive portion, the picture doesn’t do it Justice. Two margaritas, and endless chips and salsa for $22. I’d highly recommend ordering a side of pico, mild kick to it, great for someone like me that can’t physically do spicy anymore. So get that pico and mix it with their house salsa for the chips, and you’ll thank me. The flavor profile of the food is absolutely authentic, nothing Tex Mex about it. The atmosphere and service were top notch. And the food, it comes out hot and fast, so don’t even think about touching your plate once it’s served. Fantastic restaurant, sad that I have to come back to Fargo to experience it again. With I had one locally.

(New location) Not worth it. Not authentic, taste like Taco Bell. Me and my boyfriend got just tacos beans and rice, he got ground beef and I got chicken. We knew it wasn’t gonna be the same when the food came in like 10 minutes. The original Mangos took a little longer cuz it was REAL authentic Mexican food. They came with hard shells, and was soggy when it came out. I couldn’t even take one bite of my second won because as soon as I picked it up, it fell apart! He got a Horchata, didn’t ask what size and immediately charged us for a large, not sure if they have different sizes tho, and was extremely watered down. Don’t know what happened to keeping it original but they’re making a bad rep for such an iconic name.

Update: the atmosphere is still really good. The decorations and the music pair very well with the furniture and lighting. Everything blends well together. The food is still not good. The rice and beans had peas in them for some reason and the tacos were absolutely soaked in oil. The service was excellent. Our glasses were frequently filled and the staff are patient with large parties. We also ordered pitchers of Piña Coladas which was very nice. Credit where credit is due, but the food itself isn't that good. On the other hand, everything else is great. If I could I would give a 3.5 stars. I.e. better than mid but not like I'd go myself to eat. It's great for groups so you don't need to solely focus on the food.

Back in town for graduation. Met friends at mangos. I feel mangos is the best overall Mexican restaurant in the area. The senior menu is always affordable and just a little less in volume which meets our appetites. Friendly helpful wait staff. I see they close at 8pm now. ---back in town from Mesa az. Following grandsons travel baseball ⚾ team. Always like to dine here when in the Fargo area. Never disappointed. Four of us all ordered off the senior menu. Plenty for our senior appetites. Good prices as well. Friendly efficient staffing and quality service and food was prepared perfectly to our tastes.
