Oh boy, where to begin. From the get go, there were no clean tables to choose from so my family and I had to settle for a slightly sticky but still usable table. Went to grab a soda, and about half of them were out of order, so yet another disappointment right out of the gate. That’s okay we thought, there’s still some lukewarm tea in the dispenser in addition to the sparse choices. But oh my goodness when we got to the pizzas… this whole experience was officially down the toilet. Out of the selection (the table first about 8) 3 were that Tuscan pizza and while I’m okay with Tuscan, would have been nice for some variety. The rest only had about a slice or two so we had those. I had some of the mashed potatoes thinking that you can’t screw up mashed potatoes but again, I was left wanting. They were cold and depressingly dry. Every time we decided to just deal with it and ate our fill with the scraps left, they would then refill the pizza warmer after we were finished. And the first two they brought out to replenish the supply was MORE OF THOSE DANG TUSCAN PIZZAS THAT NOBODY WANTED TO EAT. Like seriously, even just a normal pepperoni or a cheese bread would have been wonderful. Aaaand then we get to the dessert pizzas. (Everything else was too wilty, old looking or dry to even attempt without fear of food poisoning) They only had half of a cactus bread left and with an okay number of people here it was gone before each of us even got a piece and it took about 25 minutes for them to bring out anymore which was just sad. They didn’t even bring out ice cream cones until after the cactus bread was already gone to where you could not once fill a plate with all the things pizza ranch is known for. It was a very sad excuse for a buffet and we have given up hope on this place. Whenever we dare attempt the dilworth location, we try to give them the benefit of a doubt but get smacked with the sad reality that this place really isn’t worth the money when you could go to the Fargo location 15 minutes away and save yourself the cost of your dignity and self worth as to how you ended up in a...
Read moreVery bad experience, I will not go back. This is one of only a few google reviews I have ever written.
I was their around 4:30 or 5:00 on Friday 8/9/24, was not very busy, way more empty tables that occupied. I paid with out any greeting from the guy working. Once they have your money they seem to want you to hurry up and leave. All you can eat style buffet until your intimated into going away.
I had a salad, before I could even finish a lady was standing close by watching and waiting for the plate, before swallowing the last bite she came to take the plate. By overall attitude and demeaner I got the idea that it was time to leave.
I went back up for a piece of pizza, breadstick, piece of chicken and a biscuit. I was the only one up at the buffet at the time and it took at max 30 seconds, probably more like 15 seconds. The guy that was at the register came out and passed me while I was walking up to the buffet, he cleared my table off and walked by me again carrying my glass and silverware as I went back to the table, that fast. He looked right at me face to face in both directions. Their was no questions for the second time (and more obvious) in roughly a minute that they wanted me to leave so I set the plate of food on the table and left.
I was quite glad I did not leave a tip on my card at the register for that kind of service but after some more thought I wonder if not leaving a tip up front caused it all.
The whole situation was stressful, VERY expensive ($17.24 for a plate of salad) and the service was literally intimidating.. I ended up eating about a block away at Arby's.
To be fair, I should also add that I did not talk to a manager, did not make a complaint while I was their, did not call back after I left and I never give Pizza Ranch any opportunity to correct or...
Read moreThings were rough from the beginning. We should have ran immediately.
I ordered a chicken bacon ranch no tomatoes when I arrived. The person at the counter took the order. I said no tomatoes two more times, totally 3 times and he repeated. The pizza came, and there were tomatoes.
The coke syrup was out when we arrived. We were here for about an hour, told two employees, and it STILL wasn’t working when we left.
The pizza on the line was old, cold, stale, and dry. Chicken was stale and dry. No additional chicken was brought out at all.
My husband had to SCRAPE the soup container to get HALF a bowl. 30 minutes in I asked if they were bringing more soup. The gal looked in the warmer and said she’d check. She then went to the back. 30 seconds later she came out dismissing me. I walked up again and asked about soup. She said “they gotta make a batch”
Our table had no napkins in the dispenser. The tables close to us were also out of napkins. We had to get a dispenser from a different table in a different section.
The floors and tables were filthy. Food, crumbs, spills. The restroom reeked of urine mixed with flowers to cover it up.
Our plates were not picked up once. My husband and I left with a stack of empty plates on our table.
The staff was dismissive, did not welcome us in, and had hardly any interaction. I even was in the restroom washing my hands. As I was finishing, a kitchen worker left the stall and went straight to the kitchen...
