I have been eating at the Arby's on Ramsey St in Fayetteville NC for years and lately I have not because of the lack of variety until today. The commercial for juicy and tasty Wagu Steak Burger brought me back!
Don't get ahead of this review, because today's experience was the worst I have ever had with any fast food restaurant including this Arby's. I pulled up to the drive thru to order my new Wagu Steak Bruger and fries for my dinner and when asked for my order by the teller I order the Deluxe burger and a large fry. The immediate response of the teller was " it will take 20 mins to cook, would like to order something else?" I immediately respond with no ma'am I will wait. With the hope that's this was going to be the best burger I have ever had. To my surprise, disappointment is an understatement.
I get to the window and pay for my meal after a 10 min in line, no issue though, it was dinner traffic. After paying for my meal within 2 mins I received the food that was supposed to have taken 20 mins to cook and drove home eagerly to enjoy this meal.
I get home after 5 mins of driving, open the bag, unwrap my burger to find the smallest burger on the market today. I said to myself it's okay maybe it will still be great. NOPE, the burger was cold, hard as a rock, as if they cooked/reheated it with the microwave, or it was cooked in the morning and tasted disgusting. Total disappointment. But the veggies were fresh. I threw it in the trash. Then I went to enjoy my large curly fry and of course there as cold if not colder than the burger.
So not only did I wait in line for 10 mins but was will to wait the full 20 mins it was supposed to take to cook, I was served the worst meal I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. I can say that I will not be back and advise all of you to not waste your time or money because I have had better food at McDonalds and that's not say much.
Not a good look Arby's, hope you can turn it around, because I used to enjoy...
Read moreFirst of all, I didn't go to Arby's. I called my husband and asked him to get the fish promotion: 2 for $6.99. While he went to the drive thru, we were still on the phone. He ordered the fish special, light on tarter sauce, and a French Dip. $15 and change w tax. Unfortunately, he didn't check the order. When we had lunch, there was only one fish sandwich in the bag. That was probably a mixed blessing. The fish was fried, and the outer coating was crispy. The inside was gross! There was a gooey layer of uncooked batter between the crust and the fish. The tarter sauce had a strange taste that was too acidic. The roll to fish ratio was way too much. The oversized roll was stale. Even my German Shepherd wasn't impressed. The French dip roll was spongey. A true French Dip roll should be grilled, and the crust should be crispy. That's the purpose of the au jus-- like milk and cookies. The portion of beef product seemed to be skimpy. Come on, Arby's. Get your act together. We won't be accessing Arby's any...
