I stopped in yesterday for lunch with my son. My chicken sandwich was way overcooked and tasted burnt. The meat was so overcooked it fell and crumbled into pieces. I tried to inform the wait staff member who took our order and this guy just walked away while I was trying address my concern about the food I ordered. This rude and unprofessional reaction compelled me to get the attention of a manager. A manager stopped by our table to hear about the issue and the wait staff member walks up and started making negative comments with a serious attitude saying " He just needs to calm down (talking about himself).... This further disrespect absolutely pressed my buttons, so I asked for a take out container for my son and to immediately get my bill to pay out and leave the business. I spoke with another manager who assisted me with paying out and I discussed my concerns with him and let him know that I would Never come back to this place nor will I allow my family members to use this place as a place to dine. I am a severely disabled retired combat veteran and I WILL Not tolerate nor compromise with riff raff which was the nature of the wait staff member that evaded responsibility and failed to correct the concern or even address it. I was given a 15 dollar gift card by one of the management, but I gave it away to a random person at a nearby gas station, because I REFUSE to spend my money earned from honorable Service to our Great Nation at this place. I was treated very poorly by this wait staff member on one of the Biggest days in America to remember the Service and sacrifices of All Veterans who have Served our nation in Combat Service in All Eras of foreign Wars... I had no idea such a person could be employed in such a nice restaurant, but now I know, so I expect this business to wear down it popularity and become another dead spot with low standards like many other new restaurants that have come and gone in the local Fayetteville community. I surely won't be going back to this location to dine neither will my Sons Daughters nor any of my family, because this has upset my entire family and WE won't spend our money at this place.. Giving out gift cards does Not Fix broken and unprofessional employees who are responsible for this mess, but truly you can keep your riffraff employee, because I Will Not Ever visit your business again. I avoid all street thugs, riff raffs, and ignorant and offensive people , so I have no need for your restaurant when biscuitville and other restaurants are all over the city and I have never encountered such a thing in any other restaurant,...
Read moreHORRIBLE SERVICE! My co-workers and I went here for something to eat after work on a slow night.. We were seated however, waiter didn’t come greet us until 20 minutes after I realized he was the one playing karaoke on the clock and sang many songs! So we waited about 20 minutes until he was done! He came over, and asked were we ready to order? Half of us were already ready to order while the others still looked at the menu, he came back with drinks for everyone except mine.. provided my 20 year old sister with a drink with alcohol in it, when she said NON-alcohol. he said mine was being made. Another 20 minutes, a couple came in and sat on the side of us! He came and greeted them and shortly after came with their drinks. Still, have not got my drink yet. He finally took our order and NEVER CAME BACK! We waited and waited and waited until I asked for a manager because by this time we been there for an hour with no food and I still didn’t get anything to drink for me, not even a water. Couple minutes later, another server came to our table and Informed me my drink glass had broken and they are remaking it for me right now. I then asked for manager again in the midst of asking she walks off WHILE IM TALKING!! Just to remind you, (THIS IS AN HOUR LATER) then the waiter FINALLY comes back WITH NO FOOD, after being gone that entire time asked me what was my drink again? Because he may have to reorder it. By this time I was aggravated no one got their food or even an appetizer, after waiting this long and he’s now asking what was my drink again? We then walked to the front counter and asked was there any managers in the building because we were there about another 30 minutes by then.. just giving the benefit of the doubt, we honestly did not want to go no where else because we waited so long already and was super hungry. They called and called for a manger over the walkie. A back from the back finally come up, he apologized and was very kind! He said he didn’t know if the other manager had quit because no one knew where she went. We then said it was ok, we would just go somewhere else.. he offered to cover a portion of the check, we said it was ok and just left. One thing for sure is I know great customer service, that right there was just unbelievable. My sister always told me about this place and my first & my last time coming here. I left so many details out but moral...
Read moreToday was an emotional/ terrible experience for me here. I came here to eat and have a wonderful drink, unfortunately it was moments later when i realized that I was going to be sitting next to someone at a different table who apparently invited someone who brought their pet animal “DOG” to dinner. We are sitting outside. The dog was long haired and unfortunately allergies are real. I asked the waitress before the guest came in to hold placing the food because i was not aware or not if the dog was going to be near me. The waitress said dogs weren’t allowed in, understanding if it’s a service animal but unfortunately it was not. At least to my knowledge it wasn’t. This review is being left because the “General Manager” who had to voice the fact that he was from Nigeria to my boyfriend who is also from Africa no sympathy or concern whatsoever. He wanted to just give us the food for free down playing the issue that is at hand. He was rude, he wanted to show his authority. He moved me instead of asking proper questions to the guest who brought their dog. We are eating people of all color are eating, why move someone who was there first for a hour and not politely ask the other party to move. The General Manager grabbed my plate and moved us, though i asked yes! But even when i had a breakdown due to the fact of the situation at hand he still did not address the issue. Several people have environmental allergies and to have a DOG at a RESTAURANT where people pay top dollar to eat is insane. But to dismiss my boyfriend and brag about him being from Nigeria and wanting us to come back for free food is DISRESPECTFUL. Not everyone comes to complain to get free food. Handle the issue at hand and not what you’re comfortable doing. Dismissing people. Not once did he say it was apart of policy here at this establishment, even if it is the case why would you not have a area only for people who have to bring dogs!! It’s insane . It’s not fair. It’s not healthy. And extremely unprofessional for the general manager. No offense to those who have dogs it’s just not humane to hold a dog eat with the dog in your arms touch your food then touch the dishes others use as well, the waitress don’t always wash their hands after touches dishes… i will never go...
