Me and my family stopped here on our road trip to Virginia on 11/15/24. We went through the drive through and when we first pulled up a very nice lady over the intercom asked us to give her a minute. After about 10 minutes of waiting we were starting to get frustrated and said hello again and another minute of 2 went by when she came back on the intercom to take our order. We went to the first window and no one was there so we pulled up to the second window and the lady came around the corner and we paid there. She gave us our drinks and asked us to pull up. I went inside to go to the bathroom and saw a man standing at the register waiting to get his order taken. On my way out I noticed there looked to be only TWO people working. One person in the kitchen and the lady that took our order, our money, and gave us our drinks seemed to be working the intercom, drive through, and the front all by herself. We waited for a good 15-20 minutes before I went inside to see a line of 4-5 people waiting and the man that was there when I went to the bathroom was still waiting to get his order taken. I got my food from the nice lady and we finally left. The whole experience took about 30-35minutes. I felt so bad for the lady working there because even though she seemed to be the only one working the store other than the guy in the kitchen she was still extremely polite and had a smile the whole time. I know how stressful it is working while short staffed and I give her all the praise for her positive attitude under the circumstances she was working in. Please don’t leave one staff member to do the majority if not all the work to herself. Management needs to do better. Be extremely appreciative for that wonderful lady that was working this shift (we went around 4pm) because if it wasn’t for her I would be giving you 1 star. The food was...
Read moreThe food was pretty much the usual and consistent with the BK brand. The other consistent quality, since the start of the Pandemic at least, is their inability to keep bathrooms accessible & properly stocked. I'd suggest selecting another fast food venue instead BK for your journeys little "Pit Stops."
Burger King is not a destination for a dining experience. It's more of a convenience for a quick bite of rather unhealthy food while traveling.
This time the lobby was open so the bathrooms were accessible for the patrons. However, there was no toilet paper (TP) in the "Woman's Room" (I was told).
Evidently, when an employee was asked if they had any TP, the reply was that they were waiting for a delivery sometime later today. It was suggested to the employee to check the Men's Room for any extra TP. The employee came back and said that there was, but she could not figure-out how to remove it and why don't you (that'd be my wife) just use the Men's Room ... an option that my wife was not comfortable with & fortunately we were just waiting for our room (just down the street) to be made ready. The hotel lobby has public lavatories so it was not a big deal. If my wife had mentioned it to me sooner, I would have gone into the Men's Room & figured out how to remove a roll of TP!
My question is that if the employee couldn't figure-out how to remove a roll of TP from the holder, how were they going to install the new rolls of TP? Many would not have asked & just use paper hand towels, which would cause all sorts of plumbing issues (which my wife would not do BTW).
We travel up & down the I-95 corridor a lot. We use to expect to stop, eat AND freshen-up at the Restrooms then refuel the car at a nearby gas station - but at Burger King that appears to be too...
Read moreWow, I'm actually shocked by how rude these people are, even for fast food. I don't think they understand money or how capitalism works.
The Whopper I ordered through the drive-thru was dry and crusty, no mayo and mostly onions, and I came back later to complain and have it replaced. Since I make deliveries, I didn't really have time to come back immediately to complain. First, the lady in the drive-thru says I have to go inside to explain my problem because they don't "take concerns through the drive-thru window", which was a first for me. I said, "Huh? Go inside?" She made a face and said, "Uhhhhhhhhh yeah," and pointed repeatedly at the side door, and then slams the window shut. I get inside and tell the manager about my food, we go back and forth about not having the burger in the box anymore, which I argued would stink up my car with onion smell, on and on, and she says, "I don't remember you. Do you remember him? We haven't had anyone order a Whopper today, and I ALWAYS give receipts." First, they didn't give me a receipt, secondly, how could no one order a Whopper all day? It's their main burger. I doubt I was the only one who ordered one, and got yelled at for whatever reason. Third, if I spoke to her in the drive-thru, I'm sure I'd remember a grumpy old white lady with a bad attitude, and thick Southern drawl, and a bad haircut to match. Also, nicotine doesn't do anything good for you, honey.
So, needless to say, I went across the street to McDonald's to eat, which actually was really nice for a change (surprisingly), especially in comparison to what I...
