We stayed at La Quinta for one night on Monday, July 7th - Tuesday, July 8th 2025. The Good: Accommodations: The room was very nice and appeared clean. The renovations and finishes are elegant. The beds were comfortable. The room was pretty quiet. Hardwood floors in our pet room. No carpet was a HUGE plus. Food: The breakfast was generous and tasted wonderful. Eggs, sausage, bagels, a variety of juices, pastries, yogurts. (Cereal was stale.) Thank you. Good Customer Service: The woman I had spoken to on the phone prior to 9:30 p.m. was very nice and professional. I called asking her a list of questions and she answered every one. She was polite, respectful, and gave great customer service. The Bad: Bad Customer Service: The woman who greeted us AFTER 11:00 p.m. became upset and irritated at her coworker. I had to remind her that we had a very long trip and was in a lot of pain. I wanted her to stop complaining about her co-workers perceived failings. Very unprofessional. Most of the staff at this hotel do NOT have good customer service. People come from around the world to the U.S. expecting our great customer service. Where are the smiles? Polite attitudes? Willingness to please? The Latina woman who was manning the desk today was not outright nasty to me. However, she was abrasive, never smiled, and was not welcoming or good at customer service.  She appeared disgruntled. Perhaps if you paid your staff more, there would be people working for you that were good at customer service? The customer service I experienced at this hotel was not good. It seemed as though everyone was angry, agitated, underpaid, overworked, and did not want to be there. This was including the front desk manager that I spoke to this morning. She never smiled and looked as though she was preparing for a fight. Instead of our stay being calm and peaceful, I was agitated throughout. I have stayed at many La Quinta Inn & Suites in different states and have never been treated like this. My husband also did not care for the way he was treated by the front desk woman today. The Ugly: Bathroom Sink: The hot water and the cold water were switched in our room. This is dangerous, especially for small children. Pool: Opens: 8 a.m. The outdoor pool area was disgusting. There were many floating insects all over it. It was not appealing or well maintained. Breakfast: Free, hot, 6- 9 a.m. The free hot breakfast stopped being served too early (9). If you're going to be cheap and stop serving breakfast early, at least make it until 9:30 a.m. Rules: It also appears cheap to have a sign stating not to bring food out of the eating area. I have never seen this in all of my travels around the world! What if I needed to bring food for my family who was still asleep in the room? That has happened on many occasions when my children or husband need to sleep in. It seems as though it's a preposterous policy to have. Also: No pets in lobby during breakfast. Checkout: 11 a.m. Lastly, why are we CHARGED for anything over a 30-minute LATE CHECKOUT? Other hotels have regular checkouts until 12. Late checkouts until 1! 11:30?! Who is running this establishment? The cheapness and lack of good customer service is apparent. Do you want your business to succeed? Are you TRYING to attain bad reviews and run yourselves out of business? Whoever is running this place needs classes in the hotel and SERVICE industry. This is NOT the way you run a hotel in the U.S.

Phone charging outlets were not working but aside from that, it was a great stay. Beds were firm, which I like but pillows were quite small though they were clean and comfortable. I wish the lighting was more adjustable. The bathroom light around the mirror was dimmable but only if the main light above it was on. Fridge was good but freezer needs to be defrosted. All in all the rooms were updated and beautiful. The lady at check in and also the lady in the morning were incredibly nice. The property grounds had nice plantings of hosta, heuchera, and even a fig tree which I enjoyed, but also the natural plants around it were very cool to find. (I hope the necklace I found gets back to it's owner.) I'd definitely stay here again when in the area. Dog fee was lower than other places and I had to have them add it since, when I booked online through a 3rd party, there was no option to add it then. Also, the free breakfast was nice.

Great place, don't look no further! We were on our way to Florida from New York. Stop at La Quinta with my family of 5. We got here at 4AM The receptionist Shandra(THANK YOU FOR MAKING FEEL LIKE WE WERE AT HOME)was so sweet to me and my family especially to both of our toddler boys she put cartoons for them while they were having breakfast we had the breakfast nook to ourselves at that time. The breakfast was GREAT buffet waffles, eggs,sausage,2 different kinds of cereal,2 different kinds of muffins, bread, PbJ,yogurt,Apple juice, orange juice, coffee, and apples, oranges. The rooms are SUPER CLEAN beds were very comfortable love that they had little bars of Dove soap our kids are allergic to other brands so this was great. Very nice outdoor pool we didn't have time to go in. Would definitely stay here again!!

The lady helping the Front desk clerk was passive aggressively rude checking me in, she does not know how to talk to people and should not be conducting business with guests. She was not only rude to me but also callous towards the person on the phone and other guest. When you have worked a full day on top of driving for hours in traffic THE last thing you want to deal with is a rude person keeping you from decompressing from the day, challenging your personal growth and patience. She gave me the runaround about adding my rewards to my stay, saying I needed to give her my membership number. She made it seem like it was the only way to find me in the system. She gave me a double bed because I requested to have a room on the 3rd floor out of spite. I had just came from a hotel that placed me on the 2nd floor and someone above me was extremely noisy and I wanted to avoid that situation here because I didn’t get any rest but she took it personally. The room she gave me smells weird. It had an old stale smell and it is a stench that I can’t get pass. The room had one wash cloth, four towels and two hand towels. Other than that it was decent besides the dinghy down comforter. Because of her rude behavior I have reason to believe that she’s the reason behind why my room key only was active for one day, and the side door that is beside the pool that is broken and was unlocked was all of a sudden locked and closed shut with no sign to tell guest the door is out of order. I got rained on thinking it was still accessible because I used it just hours earlier. I wanted breakfast but after seeing a sign saying I had to eat in the lobby and hearing a dog in the eating area I was not interested anymore because eating with animals is not sanitary and I’m allergic. I understand that the hotel is pet friendly but pets should be not be allowed in the eating area. Needless to say I couldn’t leave fast enough. I never felt...

I am very big on customer service and first impressions. The front desk and management fell short and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked my stay on their website on a Tuesday for a stay that Saturday night. A friend of mine asked where I was staying and how much the room was. When I went back to their website the price had decreased by $20. I took a screenshot of their website showing the lower rate for the same date and room type. I called and the woman at the front desk was very rude. She kept interrupting me and telling me that there was no manager available. She also lied and said she would call me back in 2-3 minutes just to get me off the phone. I waited an hour and called her back. She said she was very busy but a manager would call me back. The manager, KP, did call back and he was extremely arrogant. I explained the situation to him and he implied that I was lying. He said the rates never go down, but often increase and asked me if I would be willing to pay more if the price increased. He said that the King size rooms are sold out every night of the year. He literally said 365 days. I would think a $20 modification in price would not be a big deal, especially since I referred a new customer to them and had proof from their website that the price decreased, but he didn’t even want to see the screenshot. His stance was the hotel was going to sell out anyway, so why would he honor a lower price. It was too late to cancel without still being charged, otherwise I definitely would have cancelled. I didn’t like his arrogance and I didn’t like the rudeness of the woman at the front desk, who calls herself Miss B. Also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable so I’m not sure why this room type is sold out every...
