I avoided one of the adjacent hotels because their ratings were lower than this place. Everything that made me decide to come here was washed away immediately upon arrival but it was too late for me to change my mind. When I arrived at the hotel it was very late and I had four kids in my car with me on a trip back from St Petersburg to Syracuse. We had been in the car for close to 14 hours and we just wanted to sleep and it was almost 1:00 in the morning. I walk into the establishment and I will say that the man, steve, who was working the counter was a very very nice man. The problem was I used a third party service to book the room and even though I had paid, had a receipt, and also had a booking confirmation with all of the proof I needed to just go to my room and go to bed, I was told there was a problem with the virtual card that was provided by the third party servicer. That's not my problem. I was in the foyer of the office for almost an hour waiting for somebody on the third party servicer she just answer the phone and tell the guy that I was paid for. It was right about the time we got the person on the phone that I was told to just go ahead and go to the room and that he would handle it. I was able to get my key card and go to the room and that was just the next step of the nasty. I walked by multiple rooms that smelled like marijuana. There was one person who appeared to have paid by cash while I was waiting. That's never good. And at 1:00 in the morning there was one person complaining that they might want a different room. I opened my door and the wash of whatever had been smoked in that room hit me like a flood. It wasn't cigarettes. It wasn't weed. It was more like a combination of every drug ever known to man. Add to that, the air conditioner was turned off so the room was pretty warm and all of that stuff had had a chance to cook. I turned on the air conditioning and that only made it worse as you could practically smell the listeria coming out of it. It reeked of weeks old dirty water. I didn't dare try to get a different room, as we just needed to go to bed so we can leave at 8:00 in the morning. I put the kids down and when I got on the mattress I heard a spring making noise. This mattress was about the worst mattress I had ever laid on. And as I laid there the immediate fear that there were going to be bed bugs washed over me. I woke up in the morning and got everybody up. There was no chance of anybody taking a shower because the shower was filthy and there was stuff all over the walls of the bathroom. I pulled the blankets back on the bed and as you can see in one of my photos there was dried crusty blood on the bed. I couldn't get out of that room fast enough and I was half terrified to even try to eat the food in the complimentary breakfast. That's the next problem. They're barely was any food for the complimentary breakfast. There were two types of cereal and a few cheap muffins and one of the new automatic pancake makers. There was no fruit of any kind. Nor did I see any protein of any kind. I would have been okay with the pancakes and I did make a couple but as soon as I poured the maple syrup on it ruined the whole experience. They had a Mrs Butterworth style pancake syrup and a bottle of what appeared to be natural maple syrup next to each other. Of course I grabbed what I thought was going to be the good stuff and as soon as I poured it onto the pancakes it just dumped everywhere as it was completely watered down by somebody. I couldn't eat so I ended up having to go and buy five breakfasts. This place was beyond a waste of money and I advise you to completely stay away from it if you can

At first glance, the room seemed clean! But every single surface inside was damp. It was extremely humid. I spotted the severe mold on the bathroom ceiling, but I wrote it off since I'd only be staying one night and didn't need to use the shower. I shut the bathroom door and went to bed. It wasn't until the next morning in the daylight that I realized that the mold was absolutely everywhere. It was on the bedspread under the sheets, and on the pillows under the pillow cases! I am mortified, because after sleeping in that bed I broke out into horrible painful hives all over my body. The mold was worst in the bathroom, but it was also on the walls and all over the beds. I wish I had just slept in my car, because I'd rather deal with soreness from a cramped car than these painful swollen hives from the mold.

This is an inexpensive basic motel. My room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The television is great with quite a few channels. I had plenty of hot water for 2 showers. There is a very nice breakfast. The staff is friendly, caring, & helpful. microwave and fridge is also in my room. i paid alot under $75 for all of this! It was quiet too. I believe there is a pool too. I needed a stopover on a long trip north south on Rte 95 and definitely will recommend this to my friends. Parking was easy and in sight of my room. Room access is from the outside, so no need to walk down inner hallways. I would have liked to have had an extra lock on the inside of the entrance door.

This place could easily be closer to 4 stars, but it needs some work, especially if they're going to charge $115/night. My main issue is the cleanliness of the floors. They seem to sweep, but if you walk around barefooted or in socks, your feet will quickly turn brown as it's evident they have not mopped the floors in forever. They also don't have cribs as their website promised when I booked, so make sure you have your own bedding if you have small kid(s) (as I do). The room doors also don't have safety locks/latches, so my inquisitive 2 year old could easily get out of the room. We ended up having to put a table in front of the door to block it so she couldn't get out. Some of the furniture/bedding had some stains and either needs to be better cleaned or replaced. All of these are pretty easy fixes, so hopefully they'd consider making the improvements in the future. I had to laugh because there is a sign in the breakfast area asking patrons to not bring food back to the room for concerns over room cleanliness. Please practice what you preach. As for the staffing, they're friendly but lack some professional courtesies. We were awoken by one of the cleaning staff loudly talking on speaker phone. Again, with better training perhaps, this could be an easy fix.||As for the positives, the breakfast was adequate for a quick overnight stay type place, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the bath towels were soft, the shower itself was clean, the fridge had a decent enough sized freezer to put some ice packs and food, and overall I felt reasonably safe in the area. The first room they put us in had a broken fridge, but they were able to easily put us in another room, so I at least respect their ability to problem-solve.||Overall, if you're looking for a place to crash for the night, this could be an OK option, but just know what you're getting...

The rooms although not the most up to date we’re clean and cozy the beds provided more comfort than I expected, there were no bugs that we saw of throughout our stay which thrilled me even more that being a concern when I stay away from home anywhere. The housekeeping lady Yunis made sure we always got our towels in the morning and we had everything we would need for our stay. She was very gentle but sweet and her manners were very hospitable. The best part of all is that we earned points to use toward free nights with choice hotels. Management was awesome and my only complaint would be the front desk lady at night Ms. Yolanda, she is very fake and rude! She greets with a smile and talks as I’d she has manners but also snatched|Money out of hand on multiple|Occasions in addition to messing up my information for|My booking multiple times. I have also had the issue of coming to get my key remade and had to come back twice more to make have it redone because she didn’t do something right but was quick to blame the door battery which worked perfectly fine after management had my key reset. That following morning after paying for|My|Room with Ms.Yolanda, it was bought to my attention she billed the wrong room instead of my room which again management quickly corrected! She needs to be addressed for her lack of detail because it shows otherwise, my stay was great and the location was of|Convenience to get around town and avoid traffic as much...
