So, everyone at work has been talking about this place and how good it is, so I thought I'd go and check it out, and bring my bestie, Anna, along for the ride.
My first impression upon walking in was that it is impeccably clean and bright inside. Right off the bat, you feel comfortable being there. As this is an "order and pay at the counter and they bring it to your table" style of restaurant, we proceeded to the counter, where we were cheerfully met by the counter staff.
We surveyed the large menu on the wall, made our selections and retreated to a table. It was literally no more than 4 minutes from ordering until the food was on the table.
The sandwiches that we each had were absolutely delicious!!! Very flavorful, and decent sized portions. At first, I thought that the price might've been higher than it should've been, but I also noted that there is a LARGE staff on hand, which resulted in such speedy service AND a delicious product. And so, I dismissed the idea of a pricey sandwich in favor of the idea that if you want quality and speed, much like we experienced, it's necessary to pay a large and competent staff.
All around, our visit was WAY beyond pleasant. In terms of cleanliness, customer service, flavor / taste / portions, and price, this place scores a solid "5". If you're ever in the area, make it a...
Read moreMy parents are here and really liked it. My dad lives off sweet tea and claims they’ve got the best. So my wife and I had to try it out. It’s definitely a unique place. Not the best location in Fayetteville. Parking isn’t easy and the lot is crazy most of the time. The restaurant has carpet which in my experience is totally gross and turns into a breeding ground for all sorts of bacteria. We called in our order because the online ordering was not working. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and my wife got one with ranch, bacon, cheese and onions...we both got chips as sides. The flavors were very lacking in both salads. We did not taste any ranch, bacon, cheese but there was some onion flavor. The buffalo was a huge let down. It’s basically regular chicken salad with some buffalo flavoring. I expected buffalo chicken in the salad. The overall sandwiches were disappointing. Chicken seemed to have been put through a blender given the pasty appearance and texture. The croissants were small, definitely not airy and flaky. The pickle was droopy, very little crisp. The cookies were not good, don’t even open it. Either we aren’t the target audience or this place is just not that good. We won’t be back and will not recommend it to anyone. I do find it very interesting that someone can have over 100 stores serving only...
Read moreEver since hearing of this concept I have looked forward to trying it as chicken salad is one of my favorite dishes/sandwiches. I expected it to be pretty good since this is what they specialize in. Like many chains, you walk to the counter to order and they bring the food to you. I was met by a young lady that seemed to prefer to be elsewhere but took my order with several questions. There are several versions of chicken salad to order, I ordered the Cranberry Kelli with wheat bread which had cranberries and almonds. The sides were somewhat limited and I went with the pasta salad. The food was delivered fairly quickly. The chicken salad did not disappoint but the bread was probably the surprise and highlight, it was very good. The pasta salad was somewhat forgettable and you also get a small icing covered cookie with your order that was pretty good. I was a little surprised as I watched them busing tables, they picked up empty food cartons etc, but never wiped down a table and mine had lots of crumbs left behind to me. The chicken salad was good, the rest of the...
