RACIST !! DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICES !! Google should make a -100 star option for this restaurant specifically! My friend and I went to try this new restaurant. We ordered tamales to split and we both ordered enchiladas. The restaurant is loud, so the waitress misunderstood us and didn’t put my friends order in. She apologized. We said no problem and he told her his order again. She brought the food and apologized again. We said no problem it’s okay again. She asked us how the food was and we said great. We didn’t complain or ask to speak to the manager or anything that would suggest we would not leave her a tip. I had on dress pants and a button down. Nothing would suggest that I wasn’t mature and smart enough to know that waitresses don’t get paid much yet she left a note on our receipt that read: “Reminder! Serves make $2.63 an hour thank you!” I’ve never experienced this at a restaurant in my life. Anyone would find this disrespectful. And I know she’s never written that on anyone else’s receipt. This was hurtful embarrassing to say the least. I spoke to the manager and he practically said nothing. If this is how they treat minorities, it makes sense that we were the only black people in the restaurant.

First visit and most impressed with the interior, very nice. Parking will be an on-going concern. Note that the entrance is on the west side of the building, north door. And the lot in front of this door has limited parking slots, with understandably several slots designated for take-out/pickup. Nice greeting upon entering walked over and sat at the bar. I ordered the $18.50 TUNA BONITA TACOS (GF) - Seared Sushi-Grade Ahi Tuna, Citrus Slaw, Cucumber, Guacamole, Habañero Sauce, Pico de Gallo, and Cilantro. Topped with Black Sesame Seeds, Cilantro, and fresh Jalapeños. crispy hard corn shell with black beans and smashed smoky pinto beans. Sides were tasty, tacos had some nice flavor just wasn't much there. The shells were definitely crispy and hard as they broke apart with every bite, too hard & crispy in my view. Many other options in Fayetteville that I'd choose.

Decided to stop in for a late lunch based on a friend’s recommendation. So glad we did! We started with the vegan cheese dip and salsa sampler, both of which were amazing. There is a lot to choose from on the menu including items for food allergies and preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.) Had the fried shrimp tacos for an entree along with a side of rice and the cucumber/tomato/mint salad. Shrimp was fried perfectly and the fresh ingredients in the dish really made the flavors pop. Prices reflect the quality and quantity of the food you receive. Service was attentive and they always made sure our drinks were full and that our meals were to our liking. They did have some computer system issues when we were about to pay, but that’s no fault of the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back, this is definitely a new favorite for us!

UPDATE: I was able to contact both the manager and the biz owner, both of whom apologized and said they would be following up with the employee in question. They offered my client and myself gift cards and hoped that I would come back to the restaurant. I feel that they took my complaint very well and were truly sorry for the way we were treated. I feel heard and will give their restaurant another try for sure...

I tried to eat here yesterday January 26th with a real estate client. we came in about 4:30 on a cold, dreary day. the place was almost empty. only 4 tables had customers.

the male host asked how many and i said 2. he had a dismissive attitude right off the bat and took us to the back and tried to seat us at a tiny 2 top. this tiny table was right next to 4-5 booths, 2 of which had couples eating at them and a female server waiting on them. I asked if we could please sit at a booth and he said NO. i again said we would really appreciate a booth and he again said NO. i asked why not? he said he didn’t have a server for that area, yet 2 feet away was a server waiting on 2 booths with couples at them. then he just threw down the menus and walked back to the hostess stand where there were 5 female severs all standing there laughing and cutting up. he said something to them and they all turned around and looked at us and started whispering .

we never even sat down. i had never been so humiliated at any establishment in my life. my client was also appalled and said we aren’t eating here and we left. the wait staff didn’t do or say anything. just let 2 paying customers walk out the door.

i’ll never set foot here again and am posting this review everywhere i can and will be calling the...

First of all, I wanted to say our waiter, Mr. Brandon excellent, and our bus boy, by the name of Nicolas also excellent and very attentive. My prime rib tacos were delicious. I think the meat could’ve been cut up in smaller pieces because it was difficult to actually eat the taco so I had to literally tear apart with my teeth to get a bite. The rice was a white pilaf ( this sort of rice does not complement the type of food being served here ) a Mexican/Spanish rice would have been a better choice. As this white rice pilaf was pretty dry and no flavor. The beans were almost acceptable, not sure if this restaurant makes them from scratch or not, as they really didn’t taste like they were from scratch. Also I was surprised they do not serve chips and salsa when you sit down at the table for the prices that they’re charging, they need to add chips and salsa while you wait. Chips and salsa should be on the house. Not to be charged. That part was very unacceptable. The atmosphere was nice, but I think they need to work on their menu a little bit. I drove a good distance to come to try out this new restaurant and I was surprised that they didn’t have a taco Tuesday special being that it’s tamale and taco place. Ha ha ha As time passes, I will probably try this place out, one more time to see if they’ve improved on any of their choices of food,( rice) etc and to see if they will start having compliment chips and salsa. I see other people have commented on the chips and salsa not being available so hopefully the owners will...
